    That is a fabulous pile of copper from all that work. I have nothing but absolute admiration for the effort you would of put in to retrieve those windings. I hope copper is paying top price when you take in to sell. 🤑🤞

    Genius on the method of pulling out wire after you cut one side off, and you even made it also. 👏 👏 I know it's "simple" but the process of making a tool to accomplish a task is something most ppl don't even begin to think about and just buy something instead.

    That is a whack of copper my friend ! I am thinking about doing a winding puller like yours only using a hydraulic jack for pulling power.

    • @simplescrapping
      @simplescrapping  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you my friend.... The hydraulic jack is a project that I'm working for years (on my mind of curse) now but I haven't find a solution yet.... The right way is to start the project and in the way you will find the solution to make it work as good as possible.... at least that's the way how I do things 😁....

    How often do you come across aluminum coils in your compressors. I have never until today…. Just cut open 2 big units and both have aluminum*coils in the compressor. What a disappointment

    • @simplescrapping
      @simplescrapping  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not often my friend.... It's almost unusual for me to get aluminum windings.... I also known some compressors (companies) that use aluminum so I don't cut them.

    Thats was cool man I learn a couple new tricks but if you got 40 pound copper 3 that 120. I sold 1000 pound at 20 cent a pound for my sealed units I made 200 dollar. So why don't you sale your units for that. Even with the prepaid iron the most you got was maybe 230 for it all I 5hink with your time and blades and stuff u broke even. But iam going to make that motor thing u got for taking the copper out those motor ty dr c
