    Wanted to comment again to let you know I finally just finished this today, watched ur video step by step. Thanks a lot! My gas tank light and coolant light were very dim at night barely any lighting. Now, it’s super bright and visible from outside the car!

    Did your rpm and mph gauge work cause everything else on my cluster works but those don’t light up for me :(

      Yes, after replacing the bulbs with the news ones, the RPM and MPH gauges illuminated as expected.
      Did you replace with new bulbs as well?

    Weird question but can you put custom colored bulbs on this or does it have to be specific.

      I’m sure that you could but I’m not sure how well they would turn out. I haven’t tried that personally.

    Idk if u mentioned it but you dont have to remove the steering wheel, you just need a little bit of finger work and u can slip the cluster out to the passenger side. Anyway good video :)

      This is true! I’ve done it that way before but it wasn’t the most fun 😂

      I got them at the local Walmart my brother.
      You can find them at any auto part store or any convenience store with an automotive section.

      What are the bulb sizes? Are they T10s?

    How does your cluster look so fresh? Is it new?

      I just cleaned up the plastic screen and installed the new bulbs I showed in this video!
      It makes a huge difference.

    hi, the RPM meter seems to me to not be lit perfectly at the digit "4".. why I see that? mine does the same.. if you by any chance discover how to solve that, pls do not hesitate to share your wisdom :)))

    • @TheCherryGarage
      @TheCherryGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe this has to do with the making of the cluster, I’ve seen many do this sadly

      @@TheCherryGarage yeah, I shall just live with that for the time being, I guess :/ ... anyway, thanks for the video, nice camera job, good speaker, explanatory content, yet delivered in still easy-to-come manner.

    Are these a common failure point?

    • @TheCherryGarage
      @TheCherryGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, light bulbs go out after long enough usually 🤷🏼‍♂️

    I'm having this problem with my cluster wondering if anyone else here is experiencing it. Sometimes while I'm driving my cluster will randomly light up and the all the gauges will zero out while I'm driving. Usually they come right back on but not all the time.

      Sounds like a bad ground! Or possibly issue with the back circuit board.

    • @gergelyszabo5097

      I had the same problem, it was a bad solder joint on the crystal oscillator on the cluster PCB. As i have red is pretty common failure point. Fixing it is very easy, you just have to melt the 2 solder points and let it cool back.
