Finally pulled the trigger on one a month ago, digi camo(love that scale for this knife) s35vn, and I've been nothing but happy with it. Granted, if I'm being fair, I've babied it a bit more than other edc's I've had because I enjoy it so much in look and function. I did cut a sharpening choil into it though. Love this knife a lot and have never felt drawn to the ad20.
Thanks for showing the versions, that's my kinda package. I'd love to have a Shark Lock magnet - too cool. I have the natural G10, S35VN clip-point arriving tomorrow. This will be my second AD20.5 - love this knife. The first one, I did a nice looking JungleWear FatCarbon / black blade build. It's in a short on my channel.
Nice that they keep coming out with better versions. I would definitely like to see a higher edge retention focused tool steel version like 10v, k390, rex45, with the textured cf scales. To me that would make the knife worth it to buy and I'm sure many others would like it to. If spyderco can do it so can demko, or even if demko came out with a performance line for the people that use there knives alot and the figet factor alone isn't enough to get one yet.
I'm super excited to see new models with different materials! I have the 3v sharksfoot with textured titanium and I love it. An s35vn version is great, but imagine a Magnacut or Vanax version!!!
I hate the "newer pill tube packaging" with these. The nice box/pouch & patch made them worth it. I still like them but the packaging sucks now. And Demko changed it because of all the Chinese copies. So, thanks China.
the ti-version is so overpriced, you can get a great us-made knife for that price, a spartan or a chris reeve. demko is really milking his fans, also with the cheap frn models which have the same materials and are made in the same factory as cold steel's budget knives, yet cost double the price or even more.
Ill always kick myself in the butt for passing on the titanium handled version because I didn't notice it had the full size pivot! Instead I got the 3v knifecenter exclusive and didn't even get the cool pouch the cheapest one comes with which is a shame to see these ones don't come with either that is a cool pouch
I’m about to pick one up myself since I never owned a demko. Can’t decide which color tan or black. Are there other color options? That Jade looks good, I’m worried about patina and it turns out looking like shit after a while.

Edit: just saw the part where you asked about the differences Aus10a the advantage it has over S35VN is that Aus10 will roll before chipping. S35VN will chip. Depending on what it is you are doing.
I dont think thats real carbon fiber on the new s35vn knife. It looks like the peel ply carbon fiber I have on other knives which is carbon fiber skin over g10 scales. Its cheaper that way. Its kind of a disappointment really.

Tip for opening the plastic boxes. Hold each end and twist approx 1/8 turn away from each other. Then pull apart. Thx for the video!

that cf looks like one of these cheap stickers you find on $20 ganzo's, i wouldn't wonder if it actually IS just a sticker.

Hi there. I’m thinking about getting this knife. But I’m torn between the carbon fiber or the tan G10. Is it worth the extra money for the carbon?
I think the g10 is better all around, especially once it wears a bit and smooths out. That said, if you want out of box smooth then go for the CF.
Would you recommend this or a para 3 for edc?
I prefer ad20.5 but both are great
