I celebrate your growth and development as a woodworker/maker. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Your accomplishments are impressive. As always and in concert with my fellow viewers, I look forward to the next one. Cheers!
Excellent video. You really show how large pieces of joinery can be accomplished in a relatively small workspace without relying on large shop machinery. Outstanding :)
Simple joinery BUT ,extremely accurately and well executed right up to the drawboarding and the wedged tenons. it is a great shame that a craftsman of this level does not have a bigger space . i wish you luck in the future . This work was very impressive .Not the least of which were th handmade tools by the looks of it.You're a young man whom I am sure will go far.
Yes, was even difficult to assemble it with the glue and tight joints, that's why there were some missing parts in the clip when glue. I had to move it extra fast
Thank you Robert! That was my first project when I started to use this space as a workshop, I remember with was built with relatively green wood, those for roof construction :))
I thought for sure you were going to need a bigger persuader, but your joinery was cut so precisely you got it together with that little one. Beautiful piece to say the least.
Muy buen trabajo, como pocos, muy buen video agradable de ver, buen diseño, elaboración muy limpia y cuidada! Mi nota es por encima de excelente, desde la Península ibérica Barcelona. Enhorabuena!
LOVIT ! Awesome Job, love its all Dowels with offsets to force the Joints to tighten up ! Must have blinked and missed the square hole plugs tho ! Awesome Job and thanks for Sharing
Adrian Preda: I bet. Whenever an assembly is that tight, there’s not much room for glue. Which means you don’t need much, so a thin layer will because the surfaces are so flat and close it will never move. Try a test joint that fits together perfectly and just apply a thin layer and leave it over night. It’s an incredible bond. I love projects like your bench because the pieces are flat straight and the joints are fun to do.
I really enjoyed that :-) Quality workmanship and I like your tidy & well organized workshop; it's the mark of an intelligent man. I also like the short MHG chisels - very handy size. Best regards from a Norwegian furniture maker
Thanks for your comment! Yes, that handle and size triggered me to buy them. They are the workhorse in projects, and the japanese chisels for precise stuff🙂
Design and workmanship is first rate. A total pleasure to watch. Cheers ...
Thank you very much!
I know almost nothing about woodworking, yet i see this as an artistic blend of old and new, domestic and exotic....very nice!
This is too beautiful to be used as a workbench! Amazing precision in the joinery, and perfect execution! Great job, Adrian!
Thank you Francesco! I will try to use it gently, until the first scratch :))
