Great video! I’m teaching my grandson how to make bracelets- and I needed simple and clear instructions for him to follow. Thank you
Thank you!
I appreciate you taking the time to show me how to make the bracelet. I wish it was easier to see the small steps.
Thank you, helped me make my first bracelet
Excellent, thanks for watching!
Thank you so much. I guess I haven’t gotten enough coffee in me to coherently read the easy instructions. Needed this tutorial. My 10 yro thanks you as I !
You were my target audience when I made this video. I'm glad it was useful. I prefer to watch a video while looking at instructions myself, figured/hoped others liked the same. Thanks for the comment!
Success!! The jig really helps out a lot with my not-so-nimble fingers. Thanks!!!
Excellent! This is such a fun skill to have, I recently made a bracelet as a gift.
thank you this was so helpful
Thank you for watching, I'm glad you found this helpful!
Very helpful pal, thanks for the tutorial
Thanks for watching and for the kind words! I'm so out of practice, I probably need to watch the video again.
I did exactly the same when measuring the wrist. My husband’s wrist measured 8 inches so I added an inch and used the 3/8” notch because I was using the smaller buckle. It came out too small and I had to take it apart. Can’t figure out how it was too small when I added the inch. The finished size didn’t reach 9”.
Very nice looking jig. I'm still using the old wooden one I built kinda like Mr. Coop's. I might have to buy one of those, looks slick.
I'm generally not a DIY kind of guy (I'm a bit envious of those who are), so this jig was a great option for me. Well worth the cost, imho. The SpeedyJig folks put out some quality product.
I have the wood one, used it a few times; wasn't very useful for me. Not very sturdy. I came across the metal one, about to use it for the first time with this video. It's solid and seems like it will be a lot better than the wood one.
Thank you good explaining
Thank you for watching and for the kind words!
My speedy jig plus didn't come with those instructions. Could you do a video on how to finish the bracelet? That's where i'm having issues.
Here is a link to those instructions: www.speedyjig.com/pages/make-a-bracelet
Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to make a video specific to that anytime soon. I think the picture in the instructions along with the video will clear it up. There are more ways to finish than are shown in the instructions. Sometimes I'll cut and burn the lines after I make my last wrap, similar to how I do it in this video: th-cam.com/video/xane3csd9v8/w-d-xo.html
I hope this helps.
Mine did not come with instructions to make a bracelet. It only came with instructions to put the jig together
Bummer. Here is a link to the instructions:

A friend of mine purchased one recently and he didn't get instructions either.
It would be nice to have the printed instructions for the speedy jig plus I just got for Christmas.
It's kooky that you didn't get one. I think they used to have the PDF available on their website...though I just checked and couldn't find it. They may be able to send you a link to the PDF if you contact them: www.speedyjig.com/pages/contact-us
Thanks for watching! I hope you get the instructions.
How much cord do we fold in half ???
Depending on size of bracelet and cord used, but 10' should be more than enough. I keep a notebook with cord weights/bracelet size, then I don't have to guess as much. Thanks for watching and sorry for the slow reply!
I really appreciate your video. What kind of knife was that that you used?
It's call a Sailor's knife, it is super handy and well worth the cost imho. My model isn't available anymore, but there are other similar models. I think I paid $7 for mine. Here is the original link: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003COEDMW
Thanks for watching and for the comment/question, kind sir!
Instructions did not arrive with product. Ordered from Amazon. Appreciate the video but can barely hear you with volume at max

How much paradors do I need to make a 18 inch lanyard?
I'm not sure. My guess, if using 550 paracord, about 28' to 30'.
@@randomjohn thank you
If you're doing the cobra braid, not counting how you're doing attachment points, the general rule of thumb is that for each inch of cobra braid you want, you need one foot of cord...
So, 18 feet
What size buckles
The kit comes with 3/8". I sometimes use 5/8, depending on what I'm making.
