Absolutely love your videos, my favourite couple for all your Eryri mountain hikes.
May I ask if you think Moel Hebog is ok for a dog? Mine has done many with me but I’ve read that there is a scramble near the peak. He has managed Cader Idris(Minfordd Path), Rhinog Fawr, Arenig Fawr, Moel Siabod, just wondering if this one is any harder than those for a dog? Thanks 😊

Many Thanks Andy for your kind words, Moel Hebog was quite a hard walk, we are hoping to be on our adventures again around April or May, have moved home 3 times in the last 2 years but should be settled in our new home soon, take care Andy from Epic Walks Wales.

You had a good day for your hike. It's amazing how much fitness disappears if you're not able to keep walking, something we've not done much of since the lockdown began. Had my first proper hike last Thursday, no aches and pains but stamina seems to have waned. Keep it up you two!

I have been wanting to climb Moel Hebog for ages, after viewing many times from Beddgelert Forest. After watching your great film, I am definitely going to do in 2022.

Many thanks for your kind words Janette, much appreciated, it is quite a hard walk and reasonable fitness is required but the views are well worth it, I would advise you check the weatherforcast and visibility for the day as the mountain can be prone to low cloud, good luck and take care Jannette from Epic Walks Wales.

I'm doing Moel Hebog on Bank Holiday Saturday/Sunday and wanted a good look at it. Your video is very good.
A lot of videos I see have overbearing music in them but you have got it spot on. Well done guys👏👏

Some nice photography there and a great day for a walk. Not to be underestimated Moel Hebog but great views from the top. Easier to park at the station car park in the centre of the village and cut through the station to join the path you were on. 👍

Many thanks for you kind words Spencer, we were aware of the two car park options but we opted for the route we took as we wanted to take photos of the bridge and waterfalls on that route.

The car park near the station is a lot more expensive to!

Many thanks Peter for your kind comments, this is quite a hard but brilliant walk Peter, my advice for everyone is to check weather and visibilty and have some reasonable fitness levels first, take care from Epic Walks Wales.

Super walk thanks. Seeing the view over the Llyn peninsula at the summit made me wonder whether you have ever considered doing "The Rivals"? I reckon that would make a great video with views over to Ireland and Holyhead mountain! Best John

Hi John, many thanks for your kind comments and recommendation of the Rivals, will definitely look up on that walk, we have not done many walks this year because we have moved home twice, so next year we should be well settled and back on our adventures full swing, once again many thanks John and all the very best from Epic Walks Wales.

Great video, definitely on my list now. I've read walk reports about it being difficult to find a decent route through the forest from Beddgelert and that there's a fair bit of scrambling... I don't get any of this from your filming here, it looks fairly straightforward, we were looking at an alternative route through Cwm Pennant but that looks long and boggy and trackless.

Hi Karen, many thanks for your kind words, this is a brilliant walk but hard just to give you a few tips, check the weather forecast for good weather and visibility, make sure you have enough water and snacks, start early and make sure you have built up enough fitness first prior to this walk, after you reach the summit hug and follow the wall back down in a North fashion then you hit another wall going Easterly fashion, you may have to cross the wall over a style to enter the forest follow the yellow marker posts initially then you must find a path back South to rejoin the path you came up on via a gate, the marker posts change colour for this path, I do not recommend going back the same way as you go up as it would be steep and a knee killer, good luck from Epic Walks Wales.
