Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD - Bluetooth Ad-On Adapter

- I purchased the $25 IP-BUS Bluetooth adapter (linked below) for an Old Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD. This adapter should work for other similar units that don't have Bluetooth built in.
I am sharing the link because I've seen others comment on adapters that didn't work for them. I don't know why they didn't work for them but this one worked for me. I followed the directions on installing and pairing to my phone.

Hi, i know you said you took the ground and live wire from the back of the unit. So are the live and ground wires only running through the Bluetooth adaptor and not to the back of the stereo unit now? if that makes sense :)
hey i was wondering if you can tell me where you connected the red wire? its just a wire with the copper wiring showing.
The Red wire is connected to the Red wire coming off the head unit labeled 12v+ accessory or something similar. But it's the power wire. The Black is ground and is connected to the black from head unit.
Yes you definitely wanna hook the power wire of the bluetooth device to your "acc" on the stereo or any part of the ignition system that is only powered when the key is on. This issures that the bluetooth device is only powered when the ignition key is on. You dont want it powered constantly. It will drain your battery eventually and bluettoth device will eventually die
I have a old pioner similar like urs and I conect a blutoth but dont gives me no music I put on aux but don't get no music I wonder if have other settings for that bus on that back can u tell me how u doet

Damn! I wish I saw this video before I just took out my Avic D3.!..lol All I wanted was bluetooth. This would have been an easy fix. Oh well. Good stuff!

Sounds like your unit has BT built in, so this would be an added part so it should work. Good luck man. The BT module for my radio is very expensive and being some of the earliest Bluetooth out it wasn't great.
But it is definitely worth a try for you!

Eu estou usando o Google Tradutor. Mas quando o dispositivo está desligado, pressione o menu. Acho que você tem que adicionar Aux a partir daí.

Hi, I bought the adapter for a old alpine in ebay, does it works but each 20 30 seconds it loses a little bit, like a second, and it doesnt like to me, in you radio it happens? So do u ve any info that could help me? Please
So it's been almost 1.5 years since I put this in my radio and it works fine. No issues n no skips. Not sure what to tell you other than maybe you got a defective unit. First try n delete the bluetooth connection n redo it like new. Hope that helps you out.
