I had honestly only listened to Breakfast In America and The Logical Song thanks to my dad, because those are the only 2 Supertramp songs he likes, but I only recently decided to listen to some more of their stuff on Spotify and oh BOY... I was taken aback by School, Give a Little Bit (didn't even know it was theirs, had only heard a cover and had no idea the original one was so precious), Hide in Your Shell....... But, Child. Of. Friggin'. Vision... Wow. WOW. Otherworldly.

Dear Rodger, greetings from Germany with love. Dedicated to our both long gone friend, Bob Lyng 😢. When I listen to the music it brings back such beautiful memories. Actually there was no day, since 2006 Sept, when I didn't think of Bob. I was grateful for this opportunity to meet you both in FFM SINKKASTEN SACHSENHAUSEN ❤❤❤. THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC
I LOVE THIS! I am 61 and had a brain aneurysm and a stroke. I am learning to play the piano. I saw Supertramp back in the 70's or 80's here in Atlanta. Sir, I truly enjoyed listening to you play the piano and sing. I've always admired your voice. I wish you would come to Atlanta, GA USA again. Would so enjoy seeing you again. Have a blessed day sir. ❤
I have not the faintest idea of what the younger generation will have as memories of the crap they listen to , but bearing in mind that I am now nearly 78, and sang all the golden oldies of past generations, but realised they were sexless songs, moon in June etc., lucky our generation, we have had it all, but this 2021 music is lacking in getting to your soul, I do not know how else to describe it.
@@pamelapickett4004 First saw Supertramp at Reading (UK) in 1975 'supporting' Yes. Will today's youth remember today's 'music' in 50 years time? Highly unlikely IMO.
Always makes me wonder how did they precive this song, the composition, chords, harmony , sound , this doesn't make sense, seems like humanly impossible. Thank You Sire, for giving this song to the world ❤
Used to love Supertramp in my earlier years & can't believe it has taken over 20 years to re-discover Roger and his band. Can't stop listening to all his music now.
I've been watching and listening to this genius for 45 years now. He has a gift that touches your soul like no other. So many of his songs bring me close to tears with their beauty and underlying meaning. Thank you Roger.
True. Roger and st are a one off amazing act. How lucky are we he still not only tours but sounds as good live as he did in the 70s. Going to see him live is like being at a concert 40 years ago. God bless supertramp and all who listen to them
Just awesome, Roger was, is and will always be a musical god. I am now 50 years old and love most genres of music but still my fave band off all time is Supertramp.
I was 17 years old when this song came out. I was playing it one day in our living room and my mom, who was on another planet, musically, came out and said; "What an amazing harmony." She also played piano so that was a hook for her as well. Another band I have to tip my hat to for being so original, and further evidence of a time when everything did not come out of a plastic box.
Well said, although I'm not from your generation, my dad is, he introduced me to supertramp and all of his other favourite musicians while I was growing up and I couldnt be more grateful to him for that. Thanks to him I'm able to enjoy such great pieces of music ! I wish I was born at a time where songs like that were still coming out, such a golden era for music ! Anyway, I got a bit passionate here, sorry !
Mais "Don't Leave Me Now" tout comme "Hide in your Shell" et "Two of Us" me touchent vraiment.

Kocham Was...
Margarita Prats you remember THE Supertramp year 1979 the brathiifull
I love the groove of this band. Only a band from the 70's could come out with this.
One of the most talented musicians ever, and still sounding great. Hope he tours again someday.
Sending love from Scotland.
Sono d'accordo.
Bless you 💗✨
The best.... 2021/06/07
Come on Roger, restart Supertramp , we miss it.
Unfortunately like with more bands, Pink floyd and Genesis come to mind, the whole was more.
👍👍👍
I don't speak original language but I'm sure it's good
Certamente
❤
Hodgson wrote some of the best songs of the 20th century
Songs that have carried me through some tough times.
And me
Me too. 🇨🇦
Highly unlikely IMO.
me too
Always makes me wonder how did they precive this song, the composition, chords, harmony , sound , this doesn't make sense, seems like humanly impossible.
Thank You Sire, for giving this song to the world ❤
Used to love Supertramp in my earlier years & can't believe it has taken over 20 years to re-discover Roger and his band. Can't stop listening to all his music now.
Yeah, me too,
Its emazing
I've been watching and listening to this genius for 45 years now. He has a gift that touches your soul like no other. So many of his songs bring me close to tears with their beauty and underlying meaning. Thank you Roger.
True. Roger and st are a one off amazing act. How lucky are we he still not only tours but sounds as good live as he did in the 70s. Going to see him live is like being at a concert 40 years ago. God bless supertramp and all who listen to them

Saw Roger & Band 2019 in Ottawa … Right up front .. Outstanding!! One of the Very Best Concerts Even!!🎹🎸💕☺️🤔
Just awesome, Roger was, is and will always be a musical god. I am now 50 years old and love most genres of music but still my fave band off all time is Supertramp.
Musical genius! Nuff said! Thank you Roger for some of the most relevant songs that have been the soundtrack of my life.
