Slavic languages are classified closer to Sankrit than Germanic languges. Checkout centum vs satem langauges. I always heard from people in Indian who are not aware about genetic and linguistic connection say that they like how Russian/Ukraine sounds. When I was traveling with some Russian friends in Himachal people use to say " Mai samjha nahi but sun kar acha laga (I didn't undestand what they said but It felt nice or sounded nice)" . I haven't heard anyone in India say that it sounded scary or threatening as someone from US might say. As people have strong affection towards Sanskrit maybe it spills over when they hear someone speaking a Salvic language.
    Edit: grammar

Refutation of AIT’s dating of Rig Veda
Rig Veda, Bharat’s foundational scriptural text, contains numerous references to the Sarasvati River, which is variously described as the “greatest of rivers,” “glorious,” “loud roaring,” and “mother of floods.”
However, the Sarasvati River was nowhere to be found until recently, when modern satellite imagery was able to locate the dry bed that once was this mighty river [7].
Studies have also shown that monsoon declined monotonically after 5,000 BCE, gradually weakening the Sarasvati, leading to its virtual extinction by around 1,500 BCE [8].
This completely debunks the AIT account that Rig Veda was composed after the purported Aryan invasion/migration circa 1,500 BCE and indicates that it was composed closer to 5,000 BCE when the river was in its prime .The Vedic literature - supposedly written by the invading Aryans - contains extensive references to prominent landmarks of Bharat but makes no mention of a former homeland. This collective amnesia of the alleged Aryan race concerning their ancestral home is highly unusual for migrant populations.
The number of Sanskrit manuscripts in existence today is roughly 1000 times the number of manuscripts available in Greek, Latin, and other ancient European languages combined. Such an overwhelming disparity in the literary outputs between the Aryans and the Europeans is difficult to reconcile with the AIT postulation of their shared heritage

It had trading relations with Mesopotamia, and they used to call IVC as Meluha, the time when Mesopotamia was in village period, IVC were already cities and now its found that some of IVC sites are 7600 BC old which is 9600 years old now. (In west its taught that mesopotamia is oldest, but its only now that more research is being done in IVC)

Aryan invation theory is famous in some Indian historians and journalist usually they just spread propaganda. Scholars use term indo-europian migration they rejected aryan invation theory completely in late 1980s. As research is going constantly, few months ago 3 research papers published called southern arc papers, which tells or gives evidence that original indo-europian people were originated from modern day Georgia country. Here in India many people joke that origin place of Aryans moves towards east(India) every time they release paper on that. I am not sure what is true. People were moving a lot at that time. Like we all come from Africa maybe some people came from present day Ukraine region and integrated with Indians living in the subcontinent. But people saying those Aryans become source of Hinduism is absurd.
Maybe people who learned how ride horses came in india integrated here and than their children went to EU?? Don’t know. But india and Rome does have similar gods.
Also saw a video on YT (man is from Baltic region) showing Norse gods and explaining them and exploring Indian connection, like how all civilisations in Europe had bad gods vs good gods on similar timelines when Indian(Aryan descendants) went toward Europe.
I hope one day we get concrete conclusion, whatever truth come out it will be better than this guessing.

History is written by the victors...as west colonised India, they wrote Indian history also in a way to portray themselves as superior to us.
But the reality is...IVC is the oldest civilization.Infact, most of the other civilizations were also Hindu civilizations.
For example...we have a Dashrath-Pharaoh letter which was exchanged between Pharaoh of egypt and a King named Dashrath which is a sanskrit name. This letter talks about Vedic Gods like Mitra,Varun,Indra etc which means even Egyptians were kind of Vedic followers.
Infact, the oldest city in the world is believed to be Banaras, which is a city in India.
How is it possible that Mesopotamia which is called as the cradle of civilization doesn't have the oldest city? 😂😂
But as i said before...History is distorted in such a way that christianity gets a validation.

Some examples of similarity between Sanskrit and Lithuanian:
    1. Who are you? Sans: Kas tvam asi; Lithu: Kas to esi
    2. The reply "That is what you are" or "You are that". Sans: Tat tvam asi. Lith: Tas to esi
    3. Who is your son? Sans: Kas tava sunus?; Lith: Kas tavo sunus?
Or more startling: A piece used by Linas Vytautas Slotkus to illustrate the similarity:
I’ll let you be the judge of that. Here are two sentences, one in sanskrit, one in lithuanian:
    Sanskrit:
Kas tvam asi? Asmi svapnas tava tamase nakte. Agniṃ dadau te śradi tada viśpatir devas tvam asi.
    Lithuanian:
Kas tu esi? Esmi sapnas tavo tamsioje naktyje. Ugnį daviau tau širdy, tada viešpatis dievas tu esi.
    English:

    - Persian travelled northwards and around the steppes 10k yrs ago: One went onto serbia and further mixed with Scandinavia and other settled around steppes.
    - Around 6k yrs Tribes grew from Steppes, started expanding and invasions via central Asia to South Asia(India) occured around 4k yrs ago.
    - Slowly confluence at afghanhstan of Persian and steppe tribes moved to Indus Valley for water sources and irrigation. Thus Indus Valley Civilization Came up which had yrade routes with Mesopotamia, Oman, Bahrain- They called indians as "Meluha"
    - Again as valley prospered Another patch of invasion destroyed it.
    - Around 2k yrs ago: Culture of Aryans/ Ancient Hindus was written down and "Sanskrit as a laguage was developed" to write sacred texts.
    - Kingdoms started emerging and Greeks heard it from Persian traders of "the
land of India" and Alexander got motivated.

May be pre-PIE was India, but PIE homeland is neither present day mainland India nor central/Eastern Europe. But definitely Central Asia/Afghanistan/North of Himalayas (Origin of R*). Very simple reasons not complex. Iranians/Slavic/Baltic people can pick/connect Sanskrit words naturally as a spoken language whereas Indians(Bengali/Marathi/Gujarati/Hindi) have to study Sanskrit separately. Simple examples: Shwetha - Svet- (s)hweta => white (In hindi it is saphed) , Nakt- naktis-night( It is raath in Hindi) , Tas,Tat -> this, that (Yeh,Woh in Hindi) , Shri - Sir (Ji in Hindi), Sunu- Son(beta in Hindi), duhitr-daughter(beti in hindi), Graha - Gravity, Rta- Right(Sahi in Hindi). However, Sanskrit has more words/cases/phonics common with the hypothesized PIE language than any other IE language.

But there is a nice correlation with Indian stories. Urvam in Lith means cave. Urvasi is a beautiful girl who disturbed sages. The sages went to peaceful places (caves) to meditate. Most of the sages were disturbed by beautiful girls from Swarga Loka(could be Kyrgystan/Omsk) (There is an Om river in Russia). And Indra is the king of Swarga Loka with cute women. And there so many stories that Sages had kids with those women. So may be sages picked up language from here or as Rig Vedic texts have a line - ''Let us sages spread our Aryan culture all over the world ". The Rig Vedic texts can give a clue. But Rig Vedic interpreters from both sides (AIT/OIT) use evidence to twist to suit their theories

Actually there is a theory about Haplogroups it is said that all human beings have roots from Africa that's why it's Called Mother Africa(Mother of all Humanity) however, there was massive migration from Africa around 50,000 or 60,000 year's ago these people became the first Non-African People that had evolved their Dna these people were called Haplogroup-F their settlement was in indian sub-continent as the time passes many People from Haplogroup F decide to move to other regions and they went to East Asia, Central Asia, Middle East and Europe these groups were known as branches of the Haplogroup F and later they get called as Haplogroup A,B,C,D,E and so on that's why many people also believe that the reason why India have saying like world is one family because of that but their are many things that needs to be discovered even if it's true then it needs to find why they move? How they look different from eachother, how their DNA mutated? And how they evolved their own traditions and Cultures.

New researcher now indicates that R1a might not be related to expansion of Indo Europeans languages, there could be some other lineage but india could be the homeland of Proto indo European.
R1a still is contention but its immaterial i think cause main goal is to find Indo European homeland.
Linguistic and archeology are in most favor of OIT and the recent hegatry paper just this month denied the homeland theory of eastern europe as an origin. So i guess it will take time but out of india theory will be accepted unanimously.

In the old world, R1a1 was the most widely spread male Y chromosome haplogroup (passed from father to son to son and so on). Haplogroups start from A and as of now, end with R. There are a total of some 50 haplogroups (mas o menos), including 4 within R (R*, R1a, R1b and R2). Yet, R1a and within that R1a1 (corresponding to the marker M420) are found in high proportion from the Faeroe islands at one extreme (around 40% of the males there are R1a1), to communities in Eastern and Southern India at the other (Bengali Brahmins from Eastern India, Iyengar Brahmins and Kodavas from South India) also have an incidence of R1a1 of over 40%. The highest incidence anywhere is within the Sorb (Wendish) people of the German-Polish border area, where R1a1 is over 70% of the male population but Poland and Ukraine in general have an incidence of over 55%, while Czechoslovakia, West European Russia and the Baltic states have incidences of above 50%. In South Asia, Punjabis and Pashtuns in general have incidences of over 50% and specific communities, Khatris, Aroras, Badakshan Pastuns and Tajiks and Khojand Tajiks have incidences in the vicinity of 70%.
However, this refers to the male Y Chromosome haplogroups only. Indians otherwise don't look like East Europeans, Balts or Nordics. This is mainly because the Mitochondrial DNA (passed from mother to daughter) is predominantly local. In India, for example, one common haplogroup is M (Mitochondrial, not Y Chromosome, where M means something else).
So the picture that gets painted (with the addition of a few more data points) is that of a rapacious bunch of men on horseback or in boats, racing after cows (all these communities are major consumers of milk and its products, unlike most of the rest of the world) and whatever women they could lay their hands on. The ones in South Asia found dark skinned Indian women, (as one would expect from Mitochondrial haplogroup M) while the ones who went to Europe either grabbed blond haired Finno Ugrian girls (presumably after killing or beating off their Finno Ugrian husbands) or else Celtic girls on the islands they occupied, conquered or raided.
The additional data points alluded to are:
    1. Very similar languages. The similarity between Sanskrit and Lithuanian is especially striking.
    2. Strong tradition of Dairy farming. Unlike most people elsewhere in the world.
    3. A stronger sense of racism than most other communities. This obsession with fair skins, blond hair and blue eyes borders on the ridiculous.
    4. A pantheon of pagan gods and practices which, while they have different names, seem to have remarkably similar properties.
5, A widespread association with horses and mobility in general.

It's all about "Proto Indo European" thing as per western academic prospective. The Aryan invasion Theory is Western Narrative propogated by European colonizers for centuries and now even more strongly press hard by Americans and British Acadamic Institutions, western Historians and their think tanks and their English speaking media turn this Narrative in to Holly Cow thing which can not be denied or questioned. The Indian Historians and Scientist strongly disagree with this Western narrative of Aryans Invadaed India theory, infact one branch of Human race which originally migrated from Africa travelled to Egypt entered Israel and spread across Arabian pennunsila they layer came to Yemen region and from Yemeni cost they successfully crossed the sea landed in Westen and southern india. Aprox 7000 years ago Fair Skin (Not White) North Indian population near Himalayan region bagan their migration from Northen India to Central Asia and Persia ( Iran) ,Mesopotemia (Iraq and Syria )then later to Anatolia(Turkey) and Greece region. The Ckythians (Half Indian Half White race) tribes of Central Asia further moved towards Cacasious Region of Southern Russia ,Gorgegia and later to the Eastern Europe and further.spread across western europe. But Europens disagree with indian theory of Spreading Indian DNA of "Haplogroup H'. Haplogroupe- H is Indian people genetic DNA found abandance in India. Haplogroup H is again found in Middle Eastern and Central Asian people and aslo found in Eastern europe.

The r1a subclade L-657 found among Indians and some iraniand like pashtuns and baloch is not found even in one sample from Europe and its formation date is calculated to be around 2600 BC with 95 percent confidence interval and it happened in India. This rules out migration towards India. European subclade is different and is not associated with sintashta culture which is primarily related with horse, chariot and warrior culture and whose descendants whose paternal ancestry Indians, Afghans, Tajiks and Pakistanis share. Moreover the etymology for the term aryan comes directly from Rig Veda and India is called Aryavarta in the ancient texts meaning abode of Aryans. Outside of Indian and Iranian languages the word Aryan is not present. The 19th century revisionism of German history by nazis appropriated hindu culture and called it their own. They even appropriated swastika which is a sacred Hindu symbol. Top ranked nazi officials like Heinrich Himmler always had a copy of bhagvad Gita in his pocket. Their obsession with Indian culture is something that is not taled about.

It was known long ago from the Anthropological research by Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ahmedkar that most of the Indian Brahmin community are east European genetic cousin and as of now they don't demand themselves as Indian genetic origin and also they feel proud of this. Dr. B.R. Ahmedkar was one of the most renowned five prophets of the world 🌍 and he had the unique research on three particular events and attained doctorate degrees. Now, the foreigners researching and admitting the real truth. When invaders came to India from western Euro-Asian part 〽️ they came with no ladies . Only male warriors enter into India from western side riding on horseback with swords ⚔️🗡️ and invade and killed peace loving original Indians who were all Bouddhas. Some of them fled away to east ➡️ part 〽️ and Southern part of India . To protect the invaders heredity they married Indian beautiful women and gave birth today's hybrid indians. After this, they started their dominating games 🎮, they wrote various epics for caste discrimination among Indians, they started divide ➗ and rule policy as if the original Indians make quarrels among themselves that was their fundamental tactful conspiracy to make them ununited to lose strength. As of now, we are the followers of the socially imposed dengerous conspiring rules. I personally don't believe so-called higher caste Brahmins and their followers. On the basis of this organisation truth D. Ahmedkar left so-called Hindu religion and accept Buddhism.
