awesome. I'm actually figuring out where to go next week up that way when I ran into your newest video. I see you guys have switched from desert to mountains as well. I'm looking at above kernville, like hospital flats but at least now I know there's options on the way especially with the water flow being what it is.
Yes, the summer heat has moved our camping to cooler temperatures. The water flow has done some damage but there’s still good options for camping out there. Thanks for watching!
I was able to make reservations for the first weekend of August. On the forest service website it says closed, but on the recreation website it’s says open but with reservations. I’m hoping the flood is fine by the time I go.
Per their website as of 07/28/2023, they are closed. Hobo Campground Area Status: Closed Hobo Campground is on the Lower Kern River southwest of Lake Isabella. It has 23 individual family sites. Maximum of 22 foot RV length, but is unsuitable for trailers. Vault toilets available onsite. No water available. This campground in by reservation only
We were warned on possible flooding requiring immediate evacuation when we were there. I guess they decided on closing as a better option. Thanks for watching.
Unfortunately, there were signs stating no walk ups, by reservations only. We checked in with the host, who verified that we had reservations. Thanks for watching.
We had site 22, it was close quarters with site 21 but there was enough room for our tent and we enjoyed being so close to the river. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful video! I’m going to plan a trip with my family!
Thank you for sharing!! I was actually looking at different campgrounds to go camping for my birthday this June. This place looks pretty cool.
It’s beautiful out there, safe travels. Thanks for watching!
Been looking into camping up there soon.

To be fresh, what if the two of you are camping? If so, I'll wait... so that it will be fun and interesting
What month was this video taken? I have a reservation for early August.

You should just delete the music and let us hear the sound of the camping
Hey porque no subieron?Es cierto que no hay reservaciones todavía?
Parece que no ahi reservaciones hasta Agosto, pero a lo mejor depende de la inundacion.
Last year this place was loaded with homeless people. Looks like they cleaned it out. But apparently it’s closed due to flooding
any news when it will open

How’s site 22?

Delete the music. No open campfires are allowed because of forest fires danger.
