- A welcome and familiar face will be at training camp on a PTO this preseason. Fan favorite Pierre-Edouard Bellemare will work out with his former team in an effort to turn that try out into a contract. But at 39 years old, can he provide the Avs with what they are asking of him? To be a 4th line center and solid on the PK?
We also take a look at some suggestions to make the regular season "less boring". Which we were surprised to see people even think the NHL regular season is boring!

Wonderful news on Gabe. I think we are all going to hold our breath when he gets hit, but if he can come back at even 75% of what he was, he's a game changer. Just his presence means a lot.

Someone said the first two, divisional rounds added more viewers for advertising. Makes sense bc the last two rounds get more attention naturally & nationally. The fan experience would be better going back to 1-8, but I don't think the NHL is in a hurry to bring it back

Giving a roster spot to a player like Bellamare is part of the reason Avs have such a poor record of developing prospects.

The nhl need to force teams to provide a way for fans to watch games without requiring cable. I have very little hype for the regular season because i dont have a way to watch.
They need to get the season started earlier. We should be seeing the cup handed out before the start of the nba playoffs.

1 vs 8 needs to happen hated wild card the moment they brought it in , i think the first year aswell a team was sitting in 3rd in there division and made the playoffs while having less points than a team that fell into "9th" because of the wild cards that was absolute bull it was in the east "9th" place team had more points than a 3rd place team make that make sense ? no more division protection for teams barly holding on .
when landy comes back i hope he gets that first goal 1st or 2nd game real quick get the monkey off the back and it back to business as usual ,if its at ball arena place will loose its mind to cant wait :)

@lj291261 it means soccer is extremely boring to watch. 90 mins of grown men faking injuries and wining about being touched, just for it to end 0-0. It's only the sport of the world because all you need to play is a ball of some sort and legs.
@@SirSiegrist i watched a full soccer game once in my life me and my DA watch Scotland vs England , never laughed so hard in all my life at all the drama queens lol its a girls sport they dont even act like the men even so its for girls and small children .
