good video, I generally go 2 under njs for everything especially when I don't know what I'm gonna be playing
I usually just stick to 18.5 unless it's and acc map or above 24 njs
this is so true... i got difficulty clearing OST crystallized with normal offset.. changed it to closer..
wow.. i feel like Taichi all of sudden and pass the E+ , same with kasai harcores
i also just beat crystallized 1st try after setting it to close, it's crazy
@@exact7 it is crazy, at first i thought you were joking but when i actually tried it holy shit i feel like i can do any song now, just need to increase my stamina and i can beat crystallized
before i didnt know what offset changes and now i realised. Im not a fluent english speaker but yeah, Great video!

I want to set the time/moment when I have to hit the notes on the beat, further away from me. Now it seems like I have to hit them when they are almost on my shoulders. With what setting can I adjust this?
I guess I’m using some pretty close Offset lmao
17.4 for 22 Njs
17.1 for 21 Njs
16.9 for 20 Njs
That affects me for maps where you can’t change the offset and so I can’t really read those do you have any tips to get used to further offset?
I'd probably have to see u trying further offset maps but usually trying to swing slower should help that I think 😅

Sadly there is no way to check what the njs is for a map while in beat saber

just change configs into game bro, in "controllers"
someone please explain how his sabers are so far in front of him, playing like that means i have my arms stretched out the whole time which makes my shoulders suuper tired for a like five minute map
@@frostedfire072 nah i realised you can set an offset for your sabers on anything but psvr 1 which is what i have 😭
I usually play on default for maps with an offset of -1 to 0, and further for -1 to -2. For the maps that go above around 0.3, I play on closer
edit: By this I mean the maps base offset

It's a camera mod that lets you change the spectator camera it used to be called camera plus iirc

Hi, im a newbie at beatsaber and ive noticed that the map is moving along with your head im not sure why is this not happening with mine. Its just fixed straight no matter where i look or move. Hope you could help thanks!
The map isn't moving along with my head though maybe my spectator camera mod is making it look that way. Unless you mean like even when you look to the side it's Infront of you because that would probably be a tracking issue, if it's not that I'm not fully sure what it could be 😅 my headset broke a while ago so I haven't played in a while
Mine is too close I can't see the tips of my sticks it's like my fov is like 100 percent is this what will fix it ?
No that sounds like a different problem this wouldn't affect how big your fov is

So, not sure if you can help with this.... and I've already emailed the Beat Saber peeps... I have an issue with my vision so I have always played beat saber by changing my Z offset. Its really the only way I can play (I'm 65 yrs old). Today while playing all of a sudden it changed back to 0 and I tried changing it many times and I quit the game and went back in. I reboot my Oculus 2.... it absolutely would not change. It looks like it does as I'm changing it but then when I press ok and get out of the settings screen, it's back to 0 again and all right in my face. So frustrating. So I had to just unplug and put it up. Got any idea of what's going on?
Ah sorry for the late reply was on a trip I don't really know what could cause that but maybe reinstalling the game might help
@@DedzixYT Yeah... I thought about that but I've seen a LOT of people complaining that when getting a new headset or having to reinstall... they get charged again... but I may have to try that. Although.. yesterday, it worked right. No telling what tomorrow will bring. :-)

Why using njs fixer for a tutorial video offset while you could use JD Fixer and use the Jump Distance term, as it do change JD, and you could explain that, people will again brain fart and say "i changed my njs" just because of the name of that mod.

Wait, I thought the offset was the songs timing offset. I thought these were called jump distance
It's a little confusing but timing offset is different they both have offset in their names I think I've heard some people call it jump distance before but you might also be thinking of note jump speed

there is using the mods but if you change njs your scores dont get submitted since that would actually change the difficulty

I use 16.5 to 17 for everything and if it's acc I go down to like 15 or lower
