    Seems like a well curated trip 👌 thanks for the useful itinerary. But is it possible to provide more information about accommodation budget and maybe link some stays you recommend?

      My pleasure! Usually I budgeted about $2-7 x night. Do you already know where you're going to stop so I can give you more details?

    Great video! I love all the beautiful sights. Is it very expensive to eat drink sleep & taxi?

    • @joyoushapes
      @joyoushapes  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you so much 😊 it depends where you go. for example, Java is cheaper than Bali, but Jakarta could be pretty similar. I’d say it’s about $2-$6 per mean, sleep vary a lot based on the level of luxury. You can find $2-3 hostel (but in Bali because it’s touristy it can be waaay more), and Raxi download the app Grab and you’ll get great deals. Hope it helps 😊

      And where did you stayed for those 2 hikes?

      Hey there, I don't remember the agencies I went with, but when I went to Bromo, I slept in the village of Probolingo, and the hostel I was staying at was organizing tours on a daily basis, so it was very easy to book through them.
      When I went to Ijen, my friend booked, so I don't know the name of the agency, but you can book it when you are in Java. You can probably book in the hostel/guest house where you'll sleep, they always have contacts with the agencies - same if you book from Bali. I was in Bali when I went to Ijen - we left at 1am and took a ferry from Bali to Java, and at 5am, we started the hike :)

    Very nice Video, help me a Lot:) can you Tell me how much you payed for komodo and were you booked this trip? Thank you :)

    • @joyoushapes
      @joyoushapes  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Glad you like it 😊 I booked once I was in Flores (where the Komodo national park tours start) because it was much cheaper and I went in one of the tourist stall I found walking around. FYI My boat wasn’t anything fancy, it was more a fisherman boat I slept on the rooftop and I paid something like $60 x 2 days.
      If you want something more comfortable I’d suggest to ask to your stay once in Flores and the prices goes from $200+. You can also join the fb group Girls In Bali and see if someone have a specific tour to recommend:))

    Did you use a specific visa extension service to get your VOA extended beyond 30 days? Was it a difficult process?

      I was in Indonesia with a business visa so it was working differently. For accurate info I recommend you to check them: www.balisolve.com/
      It's the agency I used for my business visa and they will be able to answer all your questions :)

    Horrific country where dogs and cats are being slaughtered in the meat markets. Go ahead and pay money for your travel, but be aware that the meat that you are eating there may be dog or cat meat.

      Yes the cities are mentioned in the video. That was China town in Bangkok, beautifully noisy. The other is Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam. Don’t worry, always wearing my helmet 😋
