That part where Scroter says "Just doing my job, sir", and then Howard says back, "Maybe from now on, you could do it somewhere else", was Howard firing Scroter?
I just thought of this, but I think it would have been funny if when Stephanie asked “Number 5?” he had replied “Soitenly! Whoop! Whoop! Whoop! Whoop! Whoop! Whoop!” in Curly Howard’s voice. When I was a kid, I used to want to be Number 5. I wanted to have a laser on my shoulder.
I can't help but wonder if Scroder secretly felt threatened at the thought of a military-grade robot putting him out of a job or something, and was trying to prove they weren't needed by destroying one. More likely, he was just impatient and wanted the whole thing over with, because they were running in circles for days trying to round up a sentient laser-firing machine that could potentially fry people, and even fired on his own men at one point. So Scroder was fed up with playing Roundup, Howard was nervous about losing a multimillion-dollar invention, Newton was eager to see how his creation grew into its own, and Stephanie just wanted to protect her friend. And Number 5, of course, just wanted to live.
It took sp many years and billions of dollars to create No. 5, and that robot is able to make a working duplicate within 5 minutes with all spare parts in that van. Incredibly brilliant
Yeah, I didn't much understand that one myself either. Especially with Nova being a defense contractor, they'd want that back right away. Probably just because it wouldn't have made for a happy movie ending. Or maybe since they just ate a $55 million loss, at $11 million per robot, a simple van may have just been the least of their concerns.
Ever since I saw this in the 80's and heard my name mention that he want to have my name it made me cry with joy that a famous hollywood robot want to be my name. And still that part will and always have a effect on me no matter what.
That actor went on to develop a speech impediment, put himself through law school, and represented the Gambini crime family in a high stakes robbery trial.
@blertdrax maybe the truck was his own and they do not know whats in it. oh, the spare parts could prove that. maybe thats why the replica cant fire the nuclear laser :)
My school days favourite movie, love number 5.!!
Proud family 🎦

Stat?
Stat!
What does that mean anyway?
I don't know 😂
That part where Scroter says "Just doing my job, sir", and then Howard says back, "Maybe from now on, you could do it somewhere else", was Howard firing Scroter?
Exactly what he was doing
Yeah because schroeder never listens to crosby
and he's a royal jerk
Yes. Skroater, you're fired.
Yep, actually, that was the BEST way to say "Youre fired!". XD
Skroeter is a foot soldier for the Military Industrial Complex
That's my favorite robot
Great ending to a Great movie
This was a very great movie 🎬 🎞 🎥 🎦 📽!
This movie is a classic
Number 5 was awesome
STAT, from the Latin word Statim, means 'immediately or without delay.'
Thx sir ❤
@@spike1670 👍❤️🤣
I took 4 years of Latin in high school and I appreciate this. Also, ASAP is a similar colloquial term but it is an anachronism. "As Soon As Possible."
One of those moments were we cried and laughed because number 5 was still alive hiding
@@spike1670😂...he back 🤖
Short circuit 3😂
Yup! What a great climax.
Military Destroyed A Robot Duplicate Of Number 5.

Well you’re in luck. You can identify as number 5 😂😂😂😂
@@Kurby_ I dunno, Gina Carano lost her job for identifying as a robot...
Lot of robophobics out there.

@AnthonyLeachman-sc6es I don't agree but you have a right to your opinion
Good old days. Watching widescreen movie in a 4:3 aspect ratio tv 😂
The thing that makes people like Scoter dangerous is that they think themselves to be a lot smarter than they actually are.
☹️????

Watched this on blu ray last night to get me in the mood. Loved this so much as a kid and today I'm taking my little boy to meet him! 🦾
Number 5 has lvl 10 evasion!
🙁....not 🤖
Until the chopper shows up.

Yeah, and then as soon as it jumps out the back it's treads break off. Money well spent. 🤣🤣
...If he was fired or quit, why did they let him drive off with the Nova Robotics truck No. 5 was hiding in? Never made much sense to me....
Yeah, I didn't much understand that one myself either. Especially with Nova being a defense contractor, they'd want that back right away. Been looking for this! Thanks for the upload!
...well, above average LOL
No!!!!!! he's dead but he's. Alive!
He faked his death
He was smart made a duplicate of himself
Number 5: Banzai!

@blertdrax no, i mean he owned a Nova Robotics Van. I heard they are making a remake of SC1 for 2013, is that true ?

part 5 to 9 is blocked ;(
1:03 BONZAI!!
Banzai
That actor went on to develop a speech impediment, put himself through law school, and represented the Gambini crime family in a high stakes robbery trial.
Exposed the greed and hubris of Nova Robotics as the Almighty expressed displeasure towards the Military Industrial Complex

It should have been obvious that the robot that got blown up wasn't Number 5 as it didn't talk when it left the van.
“Stat”- comes from the Latin term Statim- meaning immediately
Brave Robot is dead
Two grown adults crying over a robot. My goodness.
Ese fue una copia de número 5 el verdadero esta escondido
