It's certainly a very "odd one out" album...but I think it's quite good in a pop sort of way. Agree it's not The Scream...but nothing is. For me it's better than Hyaena which I don't like.
Hyeana is an interesting one the critics came out to bury Siouxsie at that time but musically it is interesting with some wonderful guitar work from Robert Smith equal to any of the earlier great Banshee guitarists. They were watching a lot of video nasties at the time particularly Italian Giallo movies which can be found too much in the lyric writing but I think the album Hyeana is due a resurgence as a very interesting record from a very interesting band!

Superstition with the exception of Cry Driftder and Kiss them for me is plain dull!
