I really appreciate that you pronounce correctly the names. I mean, I have nothing against people who do not pronounce italian names well, but everynow and then it is nice to listen to someone carefull enough that takes the time to learn how it is pronounced!
Great, thank you. I've bought the Lovat 'Se mia pipa' a few weeks ago as an estate. Unfortunately without any information... now I know the age. I love this pipe, even with smaller hands. This shape is amazing. Greetings from Germany ⚔
That's a beautiful collection if I do say so myself! Very jealous. In fact, it inspired me to go on a mad hunt for my first Savinelli the other day. Ended up finding and purchasing a barely smoked Punto Oro from 1974 at a local shop over here in Minneapolis. Fantastic pipe! On another note, I've been watching (more like bingeing) your pipe smoking videos and have really been enjoying learning about this wonderful hobby! I just recently started taking up pipe smoking, and have found this channel to be very informative, as well as entertaining! I look forward to watching more Sunday Smokes and tobacco reviews! Cheers!
Found a Punto Oro Corallo Unsmoked with a shape of 1004 this weekend, came with box and all papers. It was a steal. Can't wait to smoke it. The 4 digit shape code dates it pre 1970's.
That Corallo is gorgeous. A very accessible brand. They have something to fit even the most modest budget, allowing anyone to enjoy a high quality pipe. Not unlike Seiko 5s. I also have four Savs and they are my faves.
Savinelli pipes are one of my favourites ! got few of them, one is same as your punto oro 310 poker but the punto oro mister G series..smokes great indeed! Smoke in Peace, great video!
I checked the Savinelli website and none of the current generation Punto Oro pipes have the silver army mount which I love :( Maybe army mounts have just gotten out of style.. Can you recommend a similar pipe to that Savinelli 128 AM? Greetings from Japan!
P&C has a 20 percent discount thing, so I bought a series lll unfinished Savinelli for 40 bucks... From everything I have read they smoke about as well as the finished one's just without all the pretty.
The Secret To the rustic look, is done with a broken drill bit housed horizontally, and done by hand. Takes a long time to learn ,and is dangerous for you fingers, even with gloves.
Hi bradley ! What happened to this wonderful "la mia pipa" ? Do you still have it ? We never see you smoking her on the chanel . Also , as far as your poker savinelli's concerned, it is often true with poker style pipes that they tend to smoke a little hotter, and that the amount of salivation going down the stem might be superior to other pipes design because of the shorter stem...
I heard that their last master carvers for the Corallo style retired/died years ago. I hadn't checked recently, but I assumed that the style was no longer made for that reason.
@stuffandthingsyoutube I heard that as well. Believe it or not but I got one back in 2016 and I had it in a backpack that got stolen a few years back. Back then there were always a few online to buy but now you can't get them unless they are very used. I am still trying to understand what type of briar they used for these with such porous wood and why can't any other pipe company use the same kind of briar?
Hi Bredley, this is Fadi, an italian guy in Singapore. First of all, congratulations for your italian accent, is very good :) -then, I start to smoke pipe regularly (generally a bowl in the evening) less then 2 months. By now I have a Davidoff 203 red which i got it unsmoked new for $100 from a collectionist in the US. now I am waiting to receive a Peterson Sherlock holmes squire, rusticated, from Peterson, in Dublin. I have also ordered a peterson lighter after watching your review on it (I took the same model as yours). by the way, your Savinelli Corallo seems awesome. however, I have put my eyes on the savinelli dolomite k311 rusticated, that will be my next pipe. About tobaccos, i have started with macabaren scottish mixture, which I enjoyed it. Now I m smoking the balkan delight by peterson. At the beginning i did not like it at all but now i m starting to appreciate it, but i don t think i will buy it again..with my new Peterson, I m waiting the sherlock holmes tobacco, you did not give a bad review on that tobacco. But I am curious to try macabre flake latakia..why don t you make a video where you show how load a flake in the pipe?- i have never tried flakes. are they better then ribbon cut?
Glad to have you watching! It's a matter of personal preference. I slightly prefer ribbon cuts for the ease of smoking, but flakes are great for marrying different tobacco flavors together.
First time I've seen this vid. In recent vids I have noticed that your Corallo (sp?) has aged magnificantly. It now appears quite dark. I wish I could afford one.

I try, but I hope I didn't butcher them too badly!
Beautiful rustication! Good job on the restoration.
Man, all very, very fantastic pipes you have!

Hello do you know witch of these pipes are closest in size to a savinelli 106?
Hey Bradley is there word that savinelli cannot make the punto oro corallos anymore? I have not seen them anywhere now adays.
I heard that their last master carvers for the Corallo style retired/died years ago. I hadn't checked recently, but I assumed that the style was no longer made for that reason.

You should reveiw old wats to light a pipe like thr nimrod lighter and old matches and lighters.
Thanks for watching! I touched on lighters a little bit in a previous video. Review: Peterson Pipe Lighter

I got lucky on mine.
love that PO army
PJ bass back there
Should you smoke pot in one of these beautiful pipes?
Wouldn't recommend it! Pot is sticky stuff.
