Thank you for sharing. We have been to the Brussels Christmas Market 6 times since 2012. Last time we were there was 2019 prior to covid. The ferris wheel used to be in St Catherines location with the ice rink and tube sliding. The move the Ice rink and created more morkets thru out the city now. It has changed a lot since we first started going. Food scene was alway amazing in Brussels because it is an international city due to the EU headquarters being there. We might go back this year in 2024 any recommendations for food at the market and dinner ? Cheers 😀

Our last time there was also 2019, and I do think that this yr had even more food choices...
Brussels definitely offers far more choices than any other market...but it does change yr to yr...but honestly that's part of the excitement for me...just walking around and seeing what they have.
Definitely consider Daytrips to Lille, France, Bruges, Ghent & Antwerp. I have videos out on all & have one coming on experiencing the Eurostar & purchasing a rail pass...b/c that was the best way to go for us for this trip.
Please be sure to subscribe if you haven't 🙏❤️

@@hollycaputowanderlust I subscribed and my wife and I are going to watch them tonight. We have been to many other markets via day trips, Bruges,Ghent, Cologne, Aachen, Dusseldorf, Amsterdam. All though Amsterdam did not have a real market it was great to experience the canal tour and was beautiful. Have you guys done any other markets in Belgium besides Bruce, Ghent and Antwerp? I know there are some smaller cities was not sure if they had markets also. Will definitely check out Lille France video. We have visited a lot of countries and markets so we get excited when we see fellow travelers posting about places we have seen and new places to visit. Thank you so much for responding ❤❤🌍🗼

@michaelmarchesano4927 yes, we've been to all of those. I have a "playlist" of just markets. We've been to most of the big ones...but many prior to me vlogging...so this year we are heading back to a few of them like Budapest, Vienna & Prague...even though I've been a few times...they are so stunning & the food is amazing...so excited to capture this yr & share with everyone. If you haven't done the Alsace area in France...I highly recommend...we did it during Covid, so only stayed in France. Also Tallinn, Estonia was a "Bucketlist" and I highly recommend. I have videos on all.

@@hollycaputowanderlust Yes we did Basel, Strasbourg, Zurich and Lucerne in 2016. We just did Vienna and Salzburg this December 2023 and in 2022 we did Berlin and Dresden. We are starting to plan out our 2024 trip so we are checking out your videos tonight . Just fyi Paris is having the 2024 summer olympics and Notre Dame is reopening in first week of December so it is going to be crazy in Paris this year. How did you guys come about the markets? My sister lives in London and we went to Brussels via side trip and it just happened to be going on when we went there. We got hooked and started going every year to the markets.

@michaelmarchesano4927 Yes! About all in Paris, we are about to head to Asia, but would love to do a quick trip to Paris to vlog about all upcoming & hit Disney Paris.
Been going to markets for yrs...the only one we missed was 2020...which felt so sad. I feel like the Holiday season wouldn't be complete w/o the markets. I look forward to all year!
