I loved this interview, Geoff. I think I mentioned it before, but the driveway rebuild is what hooked me on Chris's channel. Then I got hooked on yours. Thanks for 3 years of fine entertainment. (I miss the deer!😉)

Good interview. Chris is a matter of fact guy, good natured with a wicked sense of humor.
But when working he is like a laser beam. Focused, disciplined and 10 steps mentally ahead.
I remember the original interview. Thanks for the re-do.

Great interview! I think Chris is down to earth and doesn't beat around the bush when asked questions. His business has come a long way since he went out on his own. And the Bealy Good property has changed dramatically since getting the clearing done. Keep the videos coming and soon we can enjoy more progress on the house. Cheers

Omg, that was great to see again. Helps to remember where he came from doing side jobs while working for his uncle and the beginning of his fleet. He just finished up Brian's job on the dam rebuilds and seeing all that new machinery and what it takes to do a major job is amazing. That said he is one hard worker and does.not cut corners so anyone is lucky to get him on their job site. Then there is your channel and the amazing amount of transformation you have done to that property although it was not mentioned much in this interview. That trail through the woods to a clearing out back sure did get run over by the pond and house lots and so much more. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I didn't watch this the first time round but this is one fantastic video's with Mr Bealy Good and Chris, I used to own my own truck year's ago possibly before Chris finished high school or started working and the story is exactly the same today as when I was pricing work with and tacking into consideration the diesel, road tax, insurance, liability insurance, goods in transit insurance, and that was all before I could feed my wife and 2 kid's then pay myself a wage most of these questions go all the way back in time and right up to date so I understand why Chris kept these thing's private, all that being said thank you Geoff and Chris for another fantastic video.

Oil changes are 500, just put 4k in tires on my truck last week and I'm on track to spend 65k in diesel this year. And thats not including buying a trailer then slowly rebuilding it. When you watch Chris work, his attention to detail, his knowledge and then his skill set with all the various machines, and in how he maintains them, you just understand he is going to be worth the cost. I do have another question though. Does Chris's Insurance company apply an extra premium when they find he is working on a Mr Beale project? Some of those drone footage shots get mighty close ...

Hey guys, I'm revisiting as Ive been busy this last couple of years and not given you the attention you deserve! haha
Pricing is always weird and as Chris said - if you give a price range - the only one that sticks is the lowest number. Even if you accept the job at the lowest number and a bare minimum spec - the customer ALWAYS wants "can you just" and "oh that needs to be like this now" and other extras OR theyve had to get organised and a 2 week job now is now down to 5 days because there's a line up of other behind you OR they get someone else in to do some other thing and they are completely in your way.
The world would be a great place if it didnt have people haha

I have a question. Is Chris married. It's never talked about and I'm sure he likes his privacy. As a former heavy equipment operator, I am enjoying watching his videos. Every time he's in the excavator, I feel like I'm there running as well.

Chris didn’t realise that there is other people out there that like to watch competent machinery operator, but the reason I like to watch your videos is that because you work we get to see a new video regularly. I know a gentleman he was my neighbor and recently moved away. I think he’s retired now but he was in excavation business moving dirt just like Chris he owned two large excavators probably in the 250 and 350 range size a couple of bulldozers and a mini excavator and skid steer identical to the one Chris has almost 3 or four dump trucks and one haul truck and he told me his operation cost him around $3 million and some of it was purchased used the only item he ever bought knew was the largest of excavators he owned that he bought specifically for doing some type of piping or laying pipe I think it was a large sewer, line project for new subdivisions

The best questions are the stupid questions! "Where does the white go when the snow melts?" and "How can you reach a MILEstone while using METRIC measurements?" are the best ones so far! We think the white from snow moves to the inside of your windshield.
