How come people defend the cruel husband, I know that he suffered from traumatic events which makes him heartless. Professional doctors is the answer to cure that deep wounds not love nor ma ri. While she's being the "key" to heal him, he causes so much heartache to her on the process. If he's like that because of his parents, people still shouldn't defend him for what he did because he's the one who chose that path.

Despite those 5 years Mari stayed in an abusive relationship she just wanted freedom to do things on her own but In Wook was too blind see that Mari and his Mom are two different people. I am not done with the series. To be honest, i only had few episodes. But in my own perspective, what the husband showing is not love anymore, its more of an obsession. You cannot own someone, even if he/she is your husband/wife.
The psycho is more charismatic than the doctor, didn't like how the doctor acts. Its like having an affair and being cruel for somebody else's wife. He's not truly a good guy for what he does with Jae Ra, He does'nt care about her. While the psycho loves her enough to forgive her changing her face & having an affair just like that. I don't understand how Ma Ri still fought for having an affair.
The whole story is fcked up honestly, the script is written poorly imo. The writers could've done better. But I don't think Mari initially wanted an "affair", what she wanted was freedom. She has been suffering for five freaking years in an abusive household. It was not her intention to find new love, that's why she went to change her face because that's her only chance but the doctor freaking messed it up, off all the faces he could choose or get inspire with he chose the face of his deceased wife.

In fact, each person has a beautiful love, but because each person has a painful fault, other circumstances and lives have made the love in them scary and pitiful to cover that fear. If you can understand that heartbreak and accept with that person to ease any hurt, that is true love.
I am only on episode 10 but so far I don’t like the husband, he doesn’t love Mari, I don’t think he ever truly loved her, he only chose her because her face reminded him of his mother’s and instead of cherishing her he repeated the actions of his father and beat her only reason he avoided her face because it was his “prize” that’s not love, that’s obsession. He was abusive. I don’t know why people aren’t seeing that. Further into this drama if the husband redeems himself I might change my opinion but as of now he’s not a good person.

I'm horrified at how many are defending this abusive creep. Yes, his childhood sucked, but he didn't have to perpetuate the cycle. Many survivors are able to break that vicious circle and he could have too. There are resources to help. I should know- I have a brutal history of my own, but I've never taken it out on innocents.

I'm horrified at how many are defending this abusive creep. Yes, his childhood sucked, but he didn't have to perpetuate the cycle. Many survivors are able to break that vicious circle and he could have too. There are resources to help. I should know- I have a brutal history of my own, but I've never taken it out on innocents.
