It may surprise you that I am a 54 yo man. I follow you because I want to understand others pov. My 53 yo wife is more beautiful than she thinks. Extremely rare for her to leave the house without fresh hair, makeup and clothes. A man that encourages his partner to be plain is afraid another guy will be attracted to them. A confident woman with great posture is very attractive.

My husband of 14 years used to love watching me do my makeup when we were just friends in high school. It was so calmly romantic cause he didn't judge my choices or pace and was amazed like it was a crazy talent haha. You’re not lying! My ex used to say he wasn’t into BBLs or cosmetic surgery, yet I caught him cheating with a Brazilian girl who had the full BBL, with fillers in her face and lips. When a man says he doesn’t have a type or claims not to like something, trust me-that’s probably exactly what his dream girl looks like.

He was with me for status. When we met, he was living on cereal, nuts, and milk for breakfast and dinner. But once he got back on his feet, he started acting like he was a “high-value man,” as he called it! Seems like he just stuck around until he thought he could get his “dream girl.” It turned out that the very thing he claimed he had no interest in was exactly what he pursued.

It takes real personal growth to understand the way of the world. Not everyone who likes you loves you. Love takes on a different more slow tone. And the more you grow up the more you understand that you only need one to love you. Not many likes from men who don’t even know the real you.

My ex bf lifestyle made me gain weight and stressed me more. He bought fast food and greasy stuff and when I spoke about cooking more healthy food he would rather blame me than take it as a chance to prioritize a better lifestyle.
His whole family was overweight and included 3 siblings, parents and a daughter from the previous marriage. He would also drink alcohol almost every weekend. When he told me his ex used to be at normal weight, it suddenly clicked that his lifestyle affects me badly and I can't see the future with a guy who doesn't support my efforts in life.

also with clothes, for all the young people, please, please, PLEASE stop buying cheap clothing. I am NOT saying this out of moral obligation (although that's obviously a relevant point). you will look, and feel so much better in more premium clothes AND you will spend less on clothing if you just choose a few nice pieces. I've spent hundreds on shein etc and you know how many of those pieces I still have? maybe 2 ratty old crop tops that I haven't replaced yet. it's not even that they fall apart quickly, it's that they will give you this feeling of 'I have nothing to wear' when in reality you have hundreds of cheap tops that are really worth less than 1 or 2 beautiful tops that you want to wear every day.

I don't even know for sure if they're good materials but I find I get a decent amount of wear out of the clothes and feel good when I wear them (vs just when I first buy them). They're also not crazy expensive. Urban Outfitters for example is about the same price but I feel like it's crazy expensive for the quality of their clothes (worse than Forever21 IMO)

@@wge621I look up Rebecca Taylor on Poshmark and Mercari. She makes clothes usually from silk, cotton, linen, wool, depending on the piece. They're very cheap now that RT left the company. I only wear her clothes. All my work clothes are from her too. I read somewhere that polyester generates a frequency of 15, which is the same as a dead person. So I try to avoid unnatural fabric or I settle with a blend with natural fabric. Usually, I noticed vintage Elie Tahari and RT both have silk lining. But since then, they cut costs. Both original designers left the brand. So it's best to get gently used clothes on Poshmark and Mercari.

I know many people who have naturally high cholesterol and cannot eat butter and bacon for breakfast lunch and dinner. Some people will lose weight on a carnivore diet but it’s not sustainable. The moment they start introducing other foods into their diet (because their body needs it) they will gain back all the weight and then some.
Some people don’t eat meat for cultural, ethical or religious reasons. Personally, I don’t feel comfortable eating pork. It’s simply not a one size fits all. And lastly, sugar isn’t the enemy. The older you are, ladies, the harder you have to work and the more you are going to have to spend. Me, I forego other expenses to invest in my looks. I have several cosmetic surgeons and their work is very natural. Choose a plastic surgeon that has a good reputation, results that look natural, and is willing to reign you in if you ask for a procedure that will make you look unnatural. This involves more lifts and lasers than fillers. Don’t go overboard on the latter. Save up for the former. If you are a lip filler gal, make sure you get it dissolved and re- done periodically. Don’t keep stacking it. That’s how you get migrated product and obviously unnatural results. For skin, prescription grade tri-retinoin at minimum. Take week long breaks for glamorous events as your skin will continually peel like a snake. Micro needling for maintenance following facelift surgery. With those things any dermatologist approved moisturizer will do the trick. Hair: good stylist. I tend to go lighter because I’d rather blend the grays that are coming in than cover them with an awful brown color that will reveal roots. Stay as skinny and fit as you can. Personal trainer, and I run 8-10 miles a day. These red pill guys that say women in their 30s and 40s are ugly? They haven’t met me.

Clothes look better, face looks snatched and confidence and mood is better. I look significantly better when my BMI is around 22, but not lower. A few years ago I stopped going to the gym because I absolutely hated it. So I started walking between 15.000-20.000 steps a day and incorporating Pilates at home. Walking completely changed my body. I look at my features in the mirror and I see my lineage from both sides of my family. I see my Scottish/English and then also Hispanic/Peruvian side and I feel so grateful to my ancestors before me that made it possible for me to be here and have this beautiful experience of life💖 Mindset shifts like this have prompted me to take care of myself like never before. I'm in the best shape of my life in my 30's than I ever had been in my 20's. When you love yourself, through and through; you take care of yourself inside and out

Totally agree on this!! But I would add that there are "beautiful skills" to have. Men have never openly admired my academic virtues, they tend to see you as a threat when you're obviously more knowledgeable. But they have always pointed out with a gleam in their eye how "sweet" I was, how talented (play piano and guitar), how "neat" I was when I start making things look pretty around me, as well as making myself look pretty. Even though I'm basically 6 feet tall ("too tall" for most), I have found my attractiveness in all those things too. Find some kind of performance to add to their life and they will want to add to yours as well. I am more artistic so anything aesthetic is my jam. But maybe it's cooking for others, playing and horsing around, helping out with their science stuff, it can be anything. But know your value and value yourself above. And learn what you need to do to take care of yourself and learn how to communicate that in a healthy way. Always keep your well-being in mind. I think that's my take on this video. It has inspired me to not let myself blindly put on the pounds just because I'm in a loving relationship. I need to feel attractive in my own way. It's so easy to let oneself go sometimes. Thank you for the reminder, Margarita.
    Love the dress BTW!!!

Omg. So true ab the nose. I have a roman nose. A huge one lol. Up until recently i wanted to do it(not bc of me bc my mom always brings me down-You could do so much better if you had the small nose. You could be on tv if you had the nose😢bla bla bla.)4 months in i have done small movies,a commercial & a small part in a song as an extra. I never had problem with it but also other people always tell me i should do my nose then i would be unstoppable (bc i have full lips, curly hair & long lashes😂,i just love me )But its always the outside that has made me such a debbie downer since i was a kid. Only now im learning that my mom is a classic narcissistic. She only. cares when im doing successful stuff ,but when im sick or not working she turns her back on me and starts her emotional manipulation. Love yourselves girls. The one thing that bothers me is the condescending attitude toward men, encouraging us to “stroke his ego”, it seemed to me in an insincere way, just to keep him from going elsewhere to feel like a man. Suppose we took the time to notice, really see, and really appreciate all that our men are and all they do for us, and genuinely express our gratitude not from condescending contempt, but sincere respect?
