Any tips on what I should do when the Motherboard Flex Cabel, does not stick to the Motherboard anymore? it still fits, but it does not stay on the contacts without pressure
if you heat the battery with hairdryer slowly take your time ( not heat gun), battery comes easily so you don't have take out bottom parts, and new battery sticks to remaining factory glue.
Actually you don't even need to take the fingerprint sensor off, just move it a bit to unscrew/screw the bracket and the removal of secondary motherboard is not really mandatory. I just changed this phone battery yesterday, the pull tabs just broke off because it has lost it's elasticity. So used a cardboard plus some isopropyl alcohol to slowly remove the adhesive at the bottom of the battery. The biggest pain is opening the back cover of this phone, the author of this video skipped this part. There is no way you can open the back cover with that little plastic pry tool, so it's kinda misleading.

double sided tapes will be thick, i guess. causing battery to push the screen away

I just ripped off that glue and i can't remove the battery please someone help me remove it without damage the battery or the phone
