@@BobbyMcBoost in the vid mentioned above, they talk about the long term effects of belt stretch that effect RB's. It's things that aftermarket trigger systems aim to mitigate. It's a really good vid - bit like yours mate, awesome stuff!!!!!

How do those figures compare to a Barra ?
Depends on what version of barra, pretty similar to a stock n/a barra with a Turbo put on, both pretty knock limited on 98 octane fuel. Barra would make the same power or possible crack 300kw with good wastegate control on roughly 12psi of boost. 👍

I thought they removed vct when building a 30det or used a 0 series head
@Puffwagon ah yeh they say they're controlling it in the video. So thinking it isn't a 30det motor but could be wrong
You can make vct work with the 30det conversion i
It's just and oil supply thing, so this gets its oil pressure from an oil feed out of the 30 block through a braided line 👍👍

it belongs in a lightwieght sports car,not a heavy as fuck 4WD,a 3L petrol is always going to be working its guts out in a 2.5 ton patrol,only 6500 on stock rods,they will handle 7200,did you put better valve springs in it?stock coil packs are complete shit
It was falling on its face even at 6500 rpm, no need for 7200.. they aren't stock coil packs. 👍👍
