Hello everyone.. I've been back from work for a few weeks, but it has been a busy time with plenty on, including the family and I going to London for the Coronation of His Majesty The King. Eventually I managed to get in the workshop and do some more on the knee lead nut assembly. I hope you all enjoy it. Many thanks to all my existing subscribers, your support is very much appreciated. Beautiful work. Indistinguishable from the original part, although made to finer tolerances I'll warrant.

Another thumbs up for Paragon Paints. I use a gloss mini roller on larger surfaces it gives a slightly orange peel finish which I prefer to brush marks.

Hello my friend and thanks for watching and commenting. I do like paragon paint, even I get decent results with it! Thank you for the advice, I will bear it in mind on the larger areas. Thank you for your support and interest.

Nice work Carl. Your machines always look a lot cleaner than mine. 😊

Thank you very much. I try to keep things in good order as best I can. I blame it on getting my engineering education in the military. They used a system known as "Pain Assisted Learning". Gets results quickly and has a long lasting effect.

Very nice work Carl, I think you would be hard pressed to find any difference between this homemade part from the original. I think the attention to detail on yours is much greater than the original. Fine work my friend.

    Hello Carl,
Well done it looks great, a smashing demonstration of your skills. Pleased to hear that you are going to do some hand scraping... I also plan to as well... I use the paragon paint as well, seems to do the job well.
    Take care.

Thank you Paul, you seem to be watching a lot of my films today! I really do appreciate your support. Thanks for your comments, the nut/housing is painted now and has the hardware fitted into it. It came out really well.
