i did some QA testing with activision in 2015 & was always esports adjacent. i was the president of our esports club in college, which helped me land some unpaid internships in the esports world, while balancing business analyst/IT work from my MIS degree. eventually landed a social media gig with tempo where i started getting the early bazaar builds. i had used all my technical, gamer, and QA feedback history to write up some actionable feedback/changes, minor to major, and eventually found my way touching items. then managing heroes and the rest is history.
@7F0X7 A lot of the earlier community referred to it as building sandcastles that fight eachother. To each their own though, not everyone has the same taste and that's ok 👌
Yeah the intro experience is designed to be easy mode. It's smart that way people didn't just get blown away by experienced players and quit. It even fooled the game designer and gave him a ton of confidence 😁
