Played about 10 times and always get absurdly stomped halfway through the game always, the pig is completely broken, in day 5 he had a 2x 800 damage item and infinite shields while I barely have any weapons, ridiculous
Mhmm but theres still no way to beat pyg at day 10 if he has sky scraper unless you have a full freeze build which I've never even encountered a single freeze item outside of "freeze for your first **** item this game" so havent got a single 10 win no matter how good my build is. Uncounterable one shot builds like skyscraper and 3 second dam rush need to be removed.
Thanks for the video, subbed! One strong scaling build you didn't mention is Aquatic Haste. Early game Coral Armor into Waterwheel, Shipwreck and Sharkray finisher does thousands of damage and has gotten me some 10 wins. You can also go poison triggers from haste but Sharkray seems more stable. Dam + Shipwreck also seems disgusting but haven't tried. It's not as busted as insta-win Throwing Knives crit (which should get nerfed) but it's a cool, thematic alternative to the straightforward weapons builds. Loving the game so far and looking forward to more videos!
I'm going to be updating these as we go along with the different patches, with a patch coming tomorrow I hope to have an idea as to meta build updates sometime next week!
The first game is vs bots, after that it's impossible to win everyone is sweating try hard streamer builds I keep fighting the same broken pig build over and over

Why keep Fishing Net to a minimum? It works when in your stash, so I don't see the downside to it.

Ammo items charge up while out of ammo, so you won't lose out on the cooldown not charging up.

I did well my first game by stacking slow synergy. As soon as i started playing ranked, though, i started getting stomped

Yeah ranked will be tough, I only got 5 wins in my first ranked win and I've played hundreds of hours! Keep your chin up and go again, you got this!
Do items in your chest buff items on the board? I noticed that some of them are still triggered in the chest like get an small item per day
Non-combat abilities in your chest continue to work, combat abilities do not :)
