117/200 i always mispronouncing し as "Ji not "shi" becasue it looks like a J and i still mix this two character う つ (u, tsu) up😭 also the three diagraps やゆよ are really confusing, it takes me YEARS analizing what will i pronounce if it's beside a consonant+i character lmao. I already know how to read all the hiragana characters but i need a whole minute to read them if they're in a sentence. This was helpful and challenging but i guess i need to slow down the video a little bit so I can catch up. Really need lots of practice before i mastered hiragana and katakana then learning the "final boss" kanji LOL I'll be back in this comment next next next year to see this comment again HAHAH probably laugh while reading this, hope I master Japanese language in the next two or three years

i just tried to read this and now fully understand why we need to learn Kanji as the lack of space between the words makes it incredibly difficult to read :D
@@Sanoy1010 Practice more - I mean just read Hiragana and Katakana alphabets again and again - Even you are strong in it - read it regulary - that will surely help you to READ very faster......It has been one month for me - still i will stuck some where when i see the alphabets - so if we just spend some 10 minutes to revise the hiragana and katakana everyday - that will definitely increase your READING SPEED...
Google keyboard is good, you can choose between the normal japanese keyboard (around 9 keys) and one where you can draw a kanji/hiragana/katakana and your keyboard will show you which one is, very useful when you see a new kanji but can't copy to translate it
Thank you for your comment! Hashi means both bridge&chopsticks, but they are described by different Kanji(漢字). Hashi(bridge) is 橋, while Hashi(chopsticks) is 箸. I know it's a little bit complicated, but like other languages, there are some words which have several meanings.
I learned that I'm supposed to pronounce "ei" as "ee" but it wasn't really pronounced like that in this video.. Was I taught wrong? I'm a little confused now

Since there are lotta fonts. its better write them down by hand on papers,try possible combination of letters to form words, try writing proper nouns from anime.....but after all my progress is ...let me explain. Read this scentence "The sagacious luminary expounded on ineffable phantasmagoria, elucidating esoteric precepts with inefficacious perspicuity." You've read that Cause you can read english words.. but didnt understand...Same scenario for me. I can read japanese fluently but can't understand simple vocab, cuz im just 5months past learning japanese...in a couple of months ill be better.
it’s not bad compared to kanji. there is still katakana after this, which i think is harder than hiragana (this). it takes a while to memorize all the letters completely, but when you can suddenly read one without stuttering it will feel amazing
I managed to remember ke because of all the youtubers whose name ends with -ke (Yusuke etc) and who write it in hiragana (bless their soul), but the other three are still bullying me 🥲

From what I found online, さけ actually more than 1 meaning. One of them is sake (alcohol), the other is salmon (fish).

In spoken Japanese, the accent is different: HAshi is bridge (also a word for edge 端, as in margin or border), while haSHI is chopsticks.
