i have a question at 5:18 why is it moofu? when i was reading it the first letter is mo then u why is it double o? pls explain im learning japanese. :)
In Japanese textbooks, the word "もうふ" is written as moufu, but the actual pronunciation is closer to moofu. In Japanese, "u" is often used in writing to lengthen the "o" sound, but in real speech, the "u" isn’t clearly heard. Instead, it sounds like "moofu" with a long "o" sound. So, pronouncing it as moofu, with a longer "o", will sound more natural.
I've been studying Japanese for 2 weeks now. Is it normal to read like a child? I mean, I had to pause the video whenever a new word appeared on the screen.
Yes, that's completely normal! If you've only been studying Japanese for two weeks, it's natural to read slowly. You'll gradually get faster, so don't worry and keep enjoying the learning process! 😃
