The mourning for their friend Daniel hit me close. My brother Daniel passed away in 2019 so everytime they mention his name or mourn him in the show, I feel that pretty hard.
The loss of a loved one through suicide. I don't know any native that doesn't know someone that hasn't gone through that. I myself lost two close friends that way. It's tuff.
As a Maori i amazed at the similarities between North American Native Nations & Polynesian peoples respect for the Elders being a huge part of it but also the marginalisation both communities are still going through, Much Respects to the creators & actors so far i have laughed cried & everything between.
What a Gem of a show! So glad Taika & Sterlin brought this masterpiece to life! The insight into first nations peoples culture is so special and beautiful to see especially the humour & story telling ability with the directing is just superb 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Now, I find the Aunties and Uncle Brownie and Big so incredibly relatable. Sometimes I am that Auntie who sold the kid's the beadwork and sometimes I am uncle Brownie but often I feel like Big, part of the community but still skirting around the edges.
Love the Rez Dogs, can’t wait to Season 3. The acting is amazing and the story line too. Love how the their lives intertwine with the elders when wisdom or help is needed. The issues between friendship portrayal is so real & we’ll done! Love all the characters, from the IHS staff, the Bears Mom, WillieJacks parents. All four main characters are amazing. My new all time favorite show! ❤❤❤❤
One of the best movies I ever saw on living on a Res in modern day Canada was "Dance me Outside" It on You Tube and boy what a great movie. Even thou it's free on You Tube you will see how good it really is. It has some top notch actors, Michael Gray Eye. Adam Beach and more.
Reservation Dogs has blown my mind from the first episode in how accurate it is. I spent my teen years and early 20s living on a Rancheria in Northern California and it's almost scary how real the show is. It's also hilarious the way the white folks are portrayed. I'm white and I appreciate the cringe humor. Friggin brilliant.
I'm not native but I've spent lots of time around natives in New Mexico and Oregon. I'm in my late fifties and I'm thinking I wanna find a nice auntie and settle down.
saw last weeks episode not even realizing I would have to wait for (only the Creator knows) how long to get my next fix. Maybe William Knifeman will visit me in a vision and let me know when I can smile again......chompin at the bit.
wish we got a season 4, felt like the story was going to keep going and certain story arcs were resolved too quickly towards S3 end. I know Sterlin and Taika plan on making spin-offs but who knows when that will be. Might as well be patient.
Really liked the show, but on a side note that Unknown Lakota Warrior is always saying "Aho" and that isn't Lakota but Diné in origin. Possibly also Kiowa.
I like the show, just keep it classy and not trashy, you don't have to put porn mags in the background at uncle brownie's house lmfao you should just leave that mess out of show. Otherwise it's just another white man's show making the characters seem like white ppl. Come on, we're natives, we don't do things like the wasicu!......
Lived on the Blackfeet Reservation.... what exactly do you do? Take it your Lakota... majority of ppl where I'm from in Browning are Christians and pretty much do white things. Not including smudging, ceremony and the sun dance
What's the most relatable thing about Reservation Dogs? 💭
The Simplicity, but also the random folklore/mythical creature sightings lol

Just that weird kid bullshit we used to do before we grew up and got lazy
Skoski Broski Yes! That's what I found interesting but also I like the characters. Plus the guest stars, hilarious 😂

This show has everything. I will be rewatching while watching all the new seasons for years to come.
We need another season!
I love this show. The writers are brilliant and you can see Taika's unique touch.
It's a great show... simple but at the same time deep. Some of these episodes are very hard topics to talk about.
This white boy signed up for Hulu just for this series and watched straight through in one night, Luv'd it
That's me too
This show is golden - I adore it so much - one episode made me cry just now. In a good way.
It's such an organtic TV show! Love to see the insight in to the culture fam 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The energy drink is natural; it's made out of energy.

Really great show
I'm not native but I've spent lots of time around natives in New Mexico and Oregon.
I'm in my late fifties and I'm thinking I wanna find a nice auntie and settle down.
I love this show, from the Flathead Rez. Cheese is the best character!
I'm a Cheese fan.
Amazing show, huge lack of exposure to indigenous culture in western media
That was great 👻 can’t wait for the return
Tremendous series!
The background music in this interview is way way too much.
Just finished season 1.
To repeat, a genius series!
Love the show ❤❤❤

It's back, already been 4 episodes
I loved the show and cannit wait until the next season. Also the one person who disliked this also hates us Indigenous people. Hey Colonizer 👋

Yeah bro another win for us indigenous race kia kaha Whaanau 😍💖👌👍👏🤣😂😜
My new favorite show. It’s like Portlandia and Napoleon Dynamite had a Native American baby
Check out Taika Waititi film TAMA TU short film NZ
Maori humour evident...no spoken dialogue till the end...a Maori prayer
Also symbolism
Skux energy drink...I see you.
Really liked the show, but on a side note that Unknown Lakota Warrior is always saying "Aho" and that isn't Lakota but Diné in origin. Possibly also Kiowa.
Every tribe I’ve seen does that lol
It's definitely Lakota
@@mistyblue8913 It's Kiowa, but now most tribes use it.
@@deerobinson557 it's Lakota
Oh hey it’s the guy from free guy
Damm I'm Mexican but that's close enough to native
Mexican is native.
Davery looks like she just came back from a movie premiere
That’s my cousin sternly
I really lov this show is fun but let you know we’re the same
Give me cheese or give me even more cheese
It's organtic.🤔
🤣
i wish they got actual indigenous actors though instead of most of the main actors being half white or just mixed
So you are 1 of 1, and you think you are only indigenous if you are, well I'm 3/4 so does that means I'm white, fool?

Are you saying natives don’t like porn?
White men didn't make the show
