    This video genuinely helped my video quality. Turning off EIS, using gyroflow and changing the aspect ratio to prevent TH-cam compression made an immediate and measurable difference in my video quality.
    Using gyroflow is VERY forgiving. I studied the before and after and it completely removed my wobbly hand movements.

    Thanks for the tips, gonna be great starting out on my new avata soon. you given great tips. One thing I have a question on is the lens filters with motion blur. So I plan to film alot over water while doing action water sports, so the blur would help, the destination video would be on Social media, which you explained would work best, in this case, in 2.7k and 100fps. So which ISO setting and lens filter in your opinon would work best here to get motion blur working as you mentioned you need double ISO as frame rate, but since it's 100fps it might be a bit much, what is your feedback here?

  • @twigwonderkid
    @twigwonderkid ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks - loved your videos on getting started very helpful. But how do you cancel the low battery RTH. I was in a large open field beside a forest and flew the avata around the field when starting, feeling brave I moved it across the field into the forest and was going down the paths flying along and around trees. I was keeping eye on battery and thought 5 mins was plenty of time considering the total flight time of battery, when low battery auto RTH came on. Now luckily as I been keeping eye on battery, and as such I had come out of the forest and was just making turns in the field, so it rose high and ruturned across the field to home no problem. But If I was in forest and easily home in 1 min max 2 minutes, I would want to cancel the automatic RTH so it didnt fly up into the trees and crash. I just have the motion controller so how do i immediately cancel and fly it home myself ? Or can't you cancel ? Plus if in trees and signal cut out I guess I'm stuffed as it would initiate RTH, crash and thats it gone - seems silly as thats where you'd want to fly the drone most.

    I currently have mini 2 and I can have my drone to “FOLLOW ME” shooting video of myself when I’m running or doing my own thing without hands on holding the controller.
    Since Avata is FPV require goggle to control Everytime. Are there any way to turn on “FOLLOW ME” mode so I can also shooting video of myself WITHOUT goggle on ?

    How do you get rid of the overlay on the recording? Such as where it has the battery percentage and what mode you’re in

    Hi Matthew - As always, superb info and great delivery! I'm very new to FPV and have been practicing on the DJI Virtual w/my gaming win11 PC. It is quite buggy to say the least and takes a few tries to get it to work correctly. I was looking at Liftoff - do you feel that will build the same muscle memory even though Liftoff uses the FPV drone vs the Avata? Thanks so much!

    Excellent info! I've already ordered my avata, is on the way. I'm kinda scared by seeing how many features and settings to play with! Lots of things to learn before starting flying it. Thank you so much for the video and, show us more!

      Thank you. You will love the Avata. Don't worry, you can get started really quickly. The fun part is learning to use all these features as you get more experienced. Enjoy!

    The biggest downside with RTH on the DJI fpv and avata series is if you get failsafe say while flying under/between trees for example the drone will stop and fly up and so crashing into the tops of the trees. So always make sure you have a solid link in the area you plan to fly...
