Awesome, my friends were trying to get another reservation this year but couldn't get through the lines. You'll be glad to hear that they do have bathrooms there. No need to dig a 3 ft hole :)
We went during the last month of March. Weather was nice! A little windy during the hike in/out. Mornings are cool but usually warms up later in the day.
I have questions, was there anything you brought but found you didn't need it? Was it cold at night, if so did you have a sweatshirt or anything? if it wasn't cold at night were you just ok in shorts ? - how is the temp there in the early morning? I'm going in 20 days for 4 nights and im female. let me know if you recommend anything to me
+Destiney Vlogs Everything I mentioned I used. I would definitely weigh your pack before you go since you want to keep the max weight under 40lbs or less depending on your body height/size. When I went it was fairly windy and cold in the morning, but definitely warmed up as the sun came up. I would bring a very thin sweater/long sleeve for the cold nights and sweatpants to sleep in. I'm sure you can get away in just shorts but it could be cold when you have to use the bathroom at night. And yes, they have a bathroom at the campsite! Water and snacks are very important so make sure you keep your calories up. Hiking back up to go home was way more difficult so make sure you carry more water on the way back, I ran out just as I reached the switchbacks and was kinda exhausted on the incline.
I did not. The animals I saw there were mostly horses and dogs. Horses are used to carry backpacks from the hilltop to the first campsite. Maybe I missed something but I didn't see any signs of "abuse".
Im going this month cant wait! hey what about showers do they have showers?
Thank you Joel, I am going next month. cant wait.

I'm reading a lot about the animal abuse at havasu, did you see any of that while you were there?
