I wanted to say thank you. I've been years ago and I think this was the best, most informative video I've seen. The only thing I'd add is to get to the parking lot a lot sooner, and hike when the sun starts coming up. Then you'll be hiking in less heat. (lived in AZ)
donald salas its a pleasure to be of any help. Let us know about your experience. And if you like take a look at our other guide videos in case you are looking for any other places to visit.
Hilltop used to be dirt with no buildings. I always started the hike at night and slept in Cataract Canyon. But that was in the 70's and 80's. Nice video.
This is the most informative video I have found. Thank you for sharing. I never knew there were caves to navigate and such a large descent to get to the pools. I am a mid level hiker (about 6-10 miles per weekend and walking 3 miles a day) so I will have to get my legs in better shape for the return trip on that one!
Bella Artista Thank you for watching the video, we are glad it helped you! keep training and good luck, if you have any other questions just let us know! 😉
come to the Pacific North WET...climb up to Larch Mountain or down if you prefer...takes ALL day to hike down from Larch MT down to bottom of Multnomah falls...our 5 yr old daughter, along with our 3 Scotty Dogs hiked this on longest day, June 21st...love living in PacNW, but is oh sooo cold, raining...a warm hike like this seems appealing!
Awesome video. I just stumbled upon your Channel. I love this video! It's going to help me plan for my HAVASUPAI trip in 2018. Thanks for sharing. I just subscribed. Keep up the good work.👍🏽
Hello. Very nice. Please tell me where to buy pass for to enter the waterfall Havasu and a helicopter return ticket. I will go a Grand Canyon a summer and I want to get to Havasupai. Thank you.
Are the hikes difficult? Although it does look like there's some development there (ladders, bridges), setting the factor of time aside for the hikes, was there any difficult rock/cliff scaling? I'm setting some time next year to hopefully visit, but want to make sure I'm physically ready.
David Del Rosario No climbing. But the last fall does take some time. I wouldnt say the others are difficult to make (hikes to the falls). Now the hike from the parking lot to the campground is long and in the way back the last section is steep and hard, but not impossible, if you are a regular hiker.
Hi i am planning to go in the September and have any idea about the rain and flash flood? how safe its when the flash flood happen and the lodge phone service is toooooooo worse than any other customer service in the world
Thank you for posting the video, very cool and very informative! A friend and I are planning on taking the hike in April and your video answered a lot of questions! But I have one last question, what song is playing in the video, its amazing!
Ryan Hatten Hey! I'm so glad to hear that the video helped! The song was composed by my husband Carlos 😃 he's the guy with the long hair in the video ❤
Hi there! If you use the mules do they drop your gear off at your chosen campsite or do you have to carry it from a drop off point?I see a lot of videos with people having coolers and chairs how do they get that stuff to their campsite?
Hi Ivan! yes you do have to carry it to your drop of point. They have a special place where they deliver everything, they check your tag to make sure that you are taking the right stuff.
Thank you for uploading this, I’m looking forward to prepping for this hike, what wildlife besides donkeys and bighorn sheep, I believe I seen in this video, did u encounter? Awesome video 👍🏻
That is quite delightfully mind blowing/awe inspiring!!! But i'm worried about that last little bit. is that last portion w/the caves/ladders the worst part? Is it steep? I hike in LA often, but i'm not a fan of treacherous trails. just wondering….thanks for sharing!!
latanya letcher Hello! the last part that you mention is definitely steep and I would consider it a little dangerous that is why a lot of people skip going down to mooney falls and beaver falls, if you feel you can't do it You can stay and check out little havasu falls and havasupai falls, no climbing required!
Woahhhh this is weird lol!! I came looking for a guide to this place & I wasn't let down, great guide!!! :) but that isn't the weird thing, lol I work at Walgreens, the one in the marina, and I occasionally would see your husband come in after work haha, big cereal fan he is. small world!
martin lopez hahahah omg!! How cool is that!! I'm going to tell him, he's going to get a kick out of it! ❤ so glad you licked the video!! if you have any questions just let me know 😉
Hey guys! Excellent video! It's nice that you guys went when it was cool (non-summer, I presume). Do you think it is a good idea to do a night hike up the canyon? Will it be too dangerous? I am thinking of doing it during late June, and a night hike would put me away from the sun and heat. Thanks!
Lord_of_Fedora Hi! actually very early hikes are highly suggested that way you don't have a deal with the sun! we went on April and the weather was very nice even a little bit chilly. hope this helps and good luck!
I am planning a trip to falls around July, I have a 3.5 year old son, do you think its safe to take him, also we do plan to take helicopter and spend at least 2 days in/around supai logde, I haven't yet checked but do you think we can get permit or reservation ?
Preetish Kakkar Hello! your son is very young, he would only be able to visit the town (supai), little havasu falls and the havasupai falls, he would not be able to reach mooney or beaver falls I would consider it dangerous. As for the reservations you can make them only and for the hotel you can call them, check the info box for this info.
after the first 3 hour hike to the first waterfall...can you turn around and head back where you came from ? back to the car ? lol I'm trying to plan just one day there ..no camping or staying a night ..pls help
Hello Joan Trinidad ! it is visible, but the amount of stars depends on the phase of the moon and how cloudy the night is. Also your field of vision is limited because you are inside a canyon. I hope this helps! ☺
Awesome video thx! Booked my flight this month March 2018 to visit next month in April 2018. I assume most would say it’s too late. Any thoughts on how I could still visit Havasupai or any suggestions on how I could still accomplish? I really would like to go even if it’s just for a day or overnight stay. I don’t mind just using a sleeping bag to sleep on the ground as long as I can see it!
Grim Reaper Hello! The main thing is having a reservation, have you tried calling? That's currently the only way to be allowed in the campgrounds even if it's just for one night.
Hi, my boyfriend and i are planning this in october this year. I already have some questions. We are making a road trip from los angelas vegas san Francisco and back. This is one of the things of my bucktet list. when you arive, you let your car in the lot(ours a rental)unattended? I'll guess the mules couldn't cary 2 suitcases one big one and smaller one,if it can how much is it to get this service? Then hiking to the village ehere we planned to stay in a lodge, and from the lodge you can visit some waterfalls if i watched it good? Are the hikings with a guide or is there a possibillity to have a guide? When you are going back tot the parking lot is that the trip with the possibility to use a helicopter?( even there a question how much for that service) can't find it anywhere on the site of the Havusupai site ;) Thank you greetz from Stefanie from Amsterdam Netherlands
Stefanie Kalkwarf Hello! 1. cars are left in the parking lot unattended 2. mules can carry unto 130 lb. and you are allowed 4 bags, I'm gonna give you a link so you can check out the prices, measurements, etc. theofficialhavasupaitribe.com/Havasupai-Mules/havasupai-mules.html 3. You can take the helicopter both ways I don't know about prices, when you call and make the reservations ask them 4. we did not use any guides, maybe the lodge offers this service but we are not sure if they provide those services 5. you must certainly can visit the falls if you are going to be staying in the lodge, the ones that are the farthest are money falls and beaver falls. I recommend you writing every question you have before calling them, getting a hold of them can be challenging so be patient and persistent. Hope this helps! your road trip plan sounds amazing ☺
Thanks for the vid. Are you able to camp by the falls? I was hoping to buy a permit & just bring a hammock to set up for the night. Is this possible do you know?
Brittany B Hello! Certain sections of the campgrounds are next to a creek, not the falls. I don't remember seeing any hammocks, I don't think the trees in the campgrounds are sturdy enough to hold a hammock, however I might be wrong I would ask about the hammock when you call to make the reservations.
Very nice video April !!! When did you go down there? It's our dream to do this hike and see this magnificent waterfalls! We wanted to go last year when we were on vacation in Arizona but impossible to get a reservation even months ago so we couldn't go there :( What advice would you give us to have an easy booking? (We called in March for August 2016 and called back several times but were told it was always full ... Or can we go there without reservation? We want to go to Havasupai the next time we go to Arizona, your video makes us dream!!! :D
Florence Piessen Hi Florence! we went on April of last year, we had 3 people calling on the same day around the same hours, until someone answered! I know it can be a little difficult but it's worth it, keep on calling back until someone picks up the phone, I'll leave you the link where you can find all of the phone numbers and info theofficialhavasupaitribe.com/Havasupai-Camping/havasupai-camping.html Thank you for watching our video, if you have any questions just let me know ☺
Thank you for your answer April! Yes we called several times and were able to get 3 or 4 times someone on the phone who told us that the reservations were already full for the season without knowing which day we wanted to come :( Do you think that being a foreigner is a problem? For if we are told every time it is full we will never go there :( Or is it possible to go down without a reservation? Thanks again! :)
Florence Piessen you do need to make reservations I would not advise you to go down there without one, have you tried the hotel? maybe they have space, perhaps the campgrounds are currently full, I believe that they set up an internet based reservations for the camping area but it backed fired on them, the amount of reservations that they received was overwhelming, so they went back to their old system which is calling in and making the reservation. Currently Havasupai is a popular place to visit, I know that it fills up pretty quickly months in advance. It doesn't matter that you are a foreigner, when we went we saw a lot of people from different parts of the globe.
Great video...I was told you need a permit do you apply ahead of time or is that where you were given wristbands? Is there a limit to the days your allowed to stay?
Mz. Fernandez Cuban Princess hello! you do need to make reservations ahead of time, we where given wristbands after checking in, regarding the maximum of days that you can stay make sure to ask when you call them, check the link below it will take you to their website theofficialhavasupaitribe.com/Havasupai-Camping/havasupai-camping.html
Great video, so helpful!! Just a Couple questions: Since you camped, im guessing you carried your tent and all your supplies with you on your hike over? On the hike back to your car was the hike back all uphill or was it pretty flat?
Oscar Guillen Hello Oscar! we only carried the essential on the hike down and back up, all the camping supplies including tent, food everything, the mules took it for us (round trip). The hike back up I would definitely consider it strenuous, it's harder to go back up then to go down. The last part of the hike, right before the parking lot is all uphill. I hope this helps, if you have any other questions, just let me know!
Than you so much!! Ill def let you know if i have more questions..unfortunately i barely heard about these amazing falls literally two weeks ago and am realizing how extremely difficult it is to get a permit..looks like 2017 is sold out anyway =( but will try again feb 1st of next year... was feb 1st the day yall called?
Oscar Guillen I don't remember the exact date, but we called around January/February, have a couple of people calling at the same time, that way you have a greater chance of getting though.
We packed some MRE, meals ready to eat, they are super light! but not the greatest in taste, also my sister took a little camping stove, so we could boil water, with that we made oatmeal, coffee, soup. Hope this helps!
+Amy Proctor I am not very sure Amy, for me MRE are sealed bags with food that you warm up with a separete bag, water is added and there's a boiling efect to warm the food, I think the are very similar if not identical to the army kind?
@ April, I have a few questions. Where can you purchase your reservation ticket What was the location of the office you arrive And how much did you have to pay per location. I apologize for my questions I’m so curious and would like to visit. Thank you !
liliana fernandez we trained by taking long walks like for a month, I can't really say that we trained all that hard, this hike I feel it's more about resistance, more so coming back up, the good thing is that you can always stop and rest, take as long as you need, don't rush yourself
We literally called yesterday and four of us trying again today. We have one night in the lodge looking to get two more nights at the campground. I spoke with the campground on the 31 of Jan. asking if they would have more people helping out with phones they kind of laughed. Also the web site is out but they were hoping for it to be up and running. Definitely going to keep trying. I have been training hard for this trip.
Hi! I would definitely say to make reservations far in advance. If you are planning on walking back up take care of your feet (watch out for blisters) Take water shoes and bug repellent and most importantly enjoy yourself! ☺
is it reasonable to do the hike in to the town, stay the night at the hotel then do the entire way to beaver falls and back in one day? how tough is it? (looking to do it with my family, we are all very fit and walk quite fast)
WeekendWarriors have in mind that from the town to the parking lot it will take you about 5-6 hours (going back up is harder then hiking down to Supai), and to get to Beaver falls it will be about 4 hours round trip, although your family is in good shape I would not suggest hiking 10 hours a day, it might be to much.
Thank you! I would suggest 3 days; the way that we did it is, we hiked there one day when we got to the campgrounds we set up our tent and the next day we used it to explore around and the third day we came back up. Does that answer your question? I think it's safe to say that we walked 3 days straight haha
+April Lorenz Thanks for your reply. Yes, that helps a lot. I'm coming from Chicago and I want make sure to bring all the necessities for the hike. My girlfriend has a bad knee, why I was asking if three days was necessary... I love the way you edit the video it was so helpful and fun to watch.
+SAMandLILSAM Thank you so much! I am very glad that you enjoy the video and that it was helpful 😊 if she feels that she can't wake it because her knee hurts you can always just take the helicopter back up, or rent a mule. Sounds like you guys are going to have a great adventure! if you have anymore questions just let me know I'll gladly reply.
dasboot360 Hi! Here is their website where you can check out more about the permits theofficialhavasupaitribe.com You need reservations to camp, to enter the park and to rent mules.
Hi! to light the camp we used flashlights, some head lamps and my sister took some solar light bulbs, but we where so beat that we didn't stay up for long after the sun went down. I would definitely recommend making reservations way in advance, we made ours like 3 months prior to our trip, also have patience it takes them a while to answer the phone. I hope this is helpful! ☺
Hey Roy! Thank you very much! unfortunately they are not very good answering the phone, my advice is to keep on trying several times a day. when my group decided that we wanted to go there, 3 different people called consecutively for a few days until bingo! someone answered.
Elisa Putter we made reservations 3 months ahead, it's hard for them to answer all the phone calls they get so be patient and if they don't answer the phone keep calling back!
+April Lorenz haha no problem! I'm going to make one big video. I'm from the Netherlands and going to make a roundtrip through the west coast! Thanks for all the info and the video for sure helped!
Going down is easier than going up. I was 50 when I did it and my first time backpacking. My daughter got some sort of rash and could not get her shoes on so we took the helicopter out.
Does an american know that in turkic language- Hava mean "air" And Su means "water" And these two words make a color combined together called as blue green-turquoiuse? Turquouis is called so after blue stone of turks.(a turks stone)
Micah Tankersley well it depends on the amenities that you are looking to get (like the service of the mules, helicopter, meals) but I would say about $250 per person
Nice to watch a Havasupai Falls video without a loud dance music soundtrack. That was beautiful.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, check out our other videos and let us know what you think ☺
Totally agree!
glad you notice that, usually al vid have some kind of pop dubstep music with drone flying.
I agree. Best capture I've seen. To the point and beautiful.
Same thing just different music.
I wanted to say thank you. I've been years ago and I think this was the best, most informative video I've seen. The only thing I'd add is to get to the parking lot a lot sooner, and hike when the sun starts coming up. Then you'll be hiking in less heat. (lived in AZ)
Krystal Tucker very good point! Thank you!
We spent a sleepless night in the car in the parking lot and got up before dawn to hike down.
AWESOME VIDEO ! BREATHTAKING VIEWS ! LOVE THE COLORS OF THE WATER , ETC ! BE SAFE! HAVE FUN! GOD BLESS YOU ALL ALWAYS ! ENJOYED !
Lots and lots of beautiful places in this world. Nothing but beautiful. Great video April. Thanks

We love road trips and been toad tripping around Arizona but never been to havasupai yet. I’ll put that on my list.
Hilltop used to be dirt with no buildings. I always started the hike at night and slept in Cataract Canyon. But that was in the 70's and 80's.
Nice video.
whats with the background music? it was very worrying. Kind of felt something tragic was coming
Sounded like 28 days later
This video was so much help for my trip, I'm planning this as an inspiration moment and huge stepping stone in my young life
Awesome! I'm so glad to hear that! Thank you! When are you going to Supai?
EXCELLENT video! Very well done and you make me want to visit for sure! Long haul from NC.... PLANNING HAS BEGUN!
Randi D You won't regret it! Havasupai is beautiful ❤

Martha C. glad it helped! if you have any questions just let us know ☺
Amazing video. Watched it twice and used it to make up my mind about doing this. Thanks as I love the details as well.
Really great video, we'd love to head back to Arizona at some point and do this hike. It looks so amazing.
it is amazing! 100% recommended
This was such a beautiful video and very informative thank you so much
When you stopped at the first falls were you already dressed for swimming? Where did you change?
Hello. Very nice. Please tell me where to buy pass for to enter the waterfall Havasu and a helicopter return ticket. I will go a Grand Canyon a summer and I want to get to Havasupai. Thank you.
Nice video! Love the music. I'm definitely going to do this, and reference your video. Thanks!

Beautiful video, so it took you 2 days to hike all the falls at Havasupai, right? So you just booked the 2-day trip, not 3 ??
Did she say Nabaho and Beaber falls? I'll make sure to be very "precautious"
Thank you for posting the video, very cool and very informative! A friend and I are planning on taking the hike in April and your video answered a lot of questions! But I have one last question, what song is playing in the video, its amazing!

+Ivan1987 correct Ivan, Thank you! if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
good job guys on doing it. i didnt make it down mooney :( i was too scared ugh. going back next june. hoping to conquer that fear :)
Thank you! it is intimidating to go down there but it is definitely worth it! you can do it! conquer that fear 😉☺
How did you go about getting permits
Thank you for uploading this, I’m looking forward to prepping for this hike, what wildlife besides donkeys and bighorn sheep, I believe I seen in this video, did u encounter? Awesome video 👍🏻
It's nice to watch a video about havasupai that isn't constantly assaulting my ears
Thanks for the video. Do you know if we could use bicycle?
Is it true that you need to call like a year in advance just to enter? How much do you pay? Is the parking crowded were you leave your car?
Loved my trip to Havasupai want to really do this again wish I have done a vlog as well
Song drove me crazy, I’m sure it’s a great video though.
Can we going there with RV please advice how easy to get there from Los Angeles thanks

its all chain guard rails and steps and ladders. No problem if you can hike there to begin with.
I'm planning a trip there but what's the nearest airport to Supai and where is the closest car rental around there
Wow absolutely beautiful place untouched away from society that's how it should be 😊
maddie morcom a must see! At least once in a lifetime ❤
Alguien sabe si hay cabañas ? O solo se puede acampar ? Costos ?

Is getting a camping reservation the only way to hike to the falls? Also do you have to pay for parking before the trail head starts ?
Wish I did this when I was younger

Karen Dawson they don't allow one day hikes due to the strenuous nature of the hike.
Did you see the milky way and stars at the campground? Lol i know super random question but I'm just wondering. :)
Hello Joan Trinidad ! it is visible, but the amount of stars depends on the phase of the moon and how cloudy the night is.
Also your field of vision is limited because you are inside a canyon. I hope this helps! ☺
Hello guys,
We're just wanna ask if you saw someone using their drone in havasupai? Is it really prohibited? Thank you!
we did not see anyone using a drone, to my knowledge they are prohibited ☺
I think April through June and sept and October would be good to hiking
Hello! Does every individual in a group have to make a reservation and show ID? Or just one of the members of the group does everything? Thank you!

We want to go to Havasupai the next time we go to Arizona, your video makes us dream!!! :D
Florence Piessen Hi Florence! we went on April of last year, we had 3 people calling on the same day around the same hours, until someone answered! I know it can be a little difficult but it's worth it, keep on calling back until someone picks up the phone, I'll leave you the link where you can find all of the phone numbers and info theofficialhavasupaitribe.com/Havasupai-Camping/havasupai-camping.html
Thank you for watching our video, if you have any questions just let me know ☺
Thank you for your answer April!
Yes we called several times and were able to get 3 or 4 times someone on the phone who told us that the reservations were already full for the season without knowing which day we wanted to come :(
Do you think that being a foreigner is a problem?
Ok thank you very much April for the information! :)
Florence Piessen anytime! ☺
Just a Couple questions:
Since you camped, im guessing you carried your tent and all your supplies with you on your hike over?
Should I fly into flagstaff AZ to drive there ? Closest airport
Im going over spring thank you for the guide
Random Beast 442 Thank you!
hey can you please tell me where is this place .... is it in canada
Love the watch! Where can I find one?
Awesome job and very informative. Very helpful. Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks for watching!
You have your terms mixed up. Havasupai is the name of the tribe, Supai is the name of the village, and Havasu is the name of the waterfall.
Hi. What did you guys pack as food for those days hiking/camping?Thx
We packed some MRE, meals ready to eat, they are super light! but not the greatest in taste, also my sister took a little camping stove, so we could boil water, with that we made oatmeal, coffee, soup. Hope this helps!
+April Lorenz I'm an Army wife and was going to bring some MREs... are they a civilian version of the Army MRE?
+Amy Proctor I am not very sure Amy, for me MRE are sealed bags with food that you warm up with a separete bag, water is added and there's a boiling efect to warm the food, I think the are very similar if not identical to the army kind?
SO HELPFUL. Thank you so much.
Thank you! ❤💚
Thanks for the video! We go in July!
Huck Outdoors Thank you for watching! have fun!!
@ April, I have a few questions.
Where can you purchase your reservation ticket
What was the location of the office you arrive
And how much did you have to pay per location.
I apologize for my questions I’m so curious and would like to visit. Thank you !
Jose Correa Hi! I encourage you to check out the tribes website for more info: theofficialhavasupaitribe.com
Looks like such a great experience.. My husband and I just started hiking when is it that you felt you guys were ready for longer hike like this??
liliana fernandez we trained by taking long walks like for a month, I can't really say that we trained all that hard, this hike I feel it's more about resistance, more so coming back up, the good thing is that you can always stop and rest, take as long as you need, don't rush yourself
Great video! What month were you guys visiting? It looks pretty low-key as far as crowds are concerned :)
Kathryn Roberts Hi! We where there in April, we did see a lot of people but nothing to crazy ☺ so glad the video helpful ❤
was wondering if anyone was able to get thru to the campground phones yesterday or today?
Sally Durio keep calling, they usually take a while to answer.
Sally Durio Be patience. Keep trying. It's worth it! good luck!
reservations through the website went up yesterday theofficialhavasupaitribe.com/
great video! I just moved to Az and this is a trip I've wanted to do for years. I am hoping to make a reservation one of these years....any advice?
Hi! I would definitely say to make reservations far in advance.
If you are planning on walking back up take care of your feet (watch out for blisters)
Take water shoes and bug repellent and most importantly enjoy yourself! ☺
right on! thanks for the info!
+LyfeOnTheEdge of course, thank you!
Great video. Thanks. I'm doing this as soon as I can
is it reasonable to do the hike in to the town, stay the night at the hotel then do the entire way to beaver falls and back in one day? how tough is it? (looking to do it with my family, we are all very fit and walk quite fast)
WeekendWarriors Are you planning on hiking back up to the parking lot after beaver falls? (that same day?)
yes, we would likely hang out in town for an hour or 2 to rest before heading out back to the parking lot
WeekendWarriors have in mind that from the town to the parking lot it will take you about 5-6 hours (going back up is harder then hiking down to Supai), and to get to Beaver falls it will be about 4 hours round trip, although your family is in good shape I would not suggest hiking 10 hours a day, it might be to much.
thanks! we will stay a second night and hike out in the morning.
WeekendWarriors fantastic! great idea!
Awesome video! Is three days necessary for the hike?
Thank you! I would suggest 3 days; the way that we did it is, we hiked there one day when we got to the campgrounds we set up our tent and the next day we used it to explore around and the third day we came back up. Does that answer your question? I think it's safe to say that we walked 3 days straight haha
are you planning on hiking there and also hiking back up?
Great video. I’m motivated to.. what exactly do you need permits for ?? The parking lot ? Camp ground ? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
dasboot360 Hi! Here is their website where you can check out more about the permits theofficialhavasupaitribe.com You need reservations to camp, to enter the park and to rent mules.
There's no roads lmao it's all dirt
Thank you, great video !
Does the store sell beer and wine?
Hi! Do you actually leave your belongings at the campground while you hike around? or do you pack everything with you when you hike
lolsalad100 you leave you belonging at the campground ☺
Great video!! How far in advance did you call for your reservations and what was the water temperature? Thanks Again!!!!
Carlos M Hello! we called 3 months ahead ☺
What does it mean no day hiking?
Great info!!
Hi April, your video is very helpful. What did you use to light your camp? Also, how far in advance would you recommend making reservations? Thank you
Hi! to light the camp we used flashlights, some head lamps and my sister took some solar light bulbs, but we where so beat that we didn't stay up for long after the sun went down.
I would definitely recommend making reservations way in advance, we made ours like 3 months prior to our trip, also have patience it takes them a while to answer the phone.
I hope this is helpful! ☺
hello i was wondering if this would not be a good vacation for young children?? our youngest is 5
Well I would suggest taking the helicopter instead of hiking and not going to Mooney Falls or Beaver Falls.
where would be the best place to go, our family is trying to be more active and healthy. We live in AZ, by Yuma.
maybe visit another area in the grand canyon?
thankd for all your help
thanks*
I tried to get reservations on 2/1/19, but everything was booked. Did you get reservations?
We sure did! We made reservations months in advance I believe if you get there and have no reservations they can fine you 😐
Hey Roy! Thank you very much! unfortunately they are not very good answering the phone, my advice is to keep on trying several times a day. when my group decided that we wanted to go there, 3 different people called consecutively for a few days until bingo! someone answered.
Thankyou very much for your advice! I'll keep trying! Looking forward to the trip!!
+Roy Hamers awesome! have fun! 😃let me know if you make a video or something!
what's the best time of year to go? Not too hot not too cold...
david sanchez I would suggest April, May, September, October ☺
Do you know how long in prior you should make a reservation? We want to go to the lodge but we're not sure when to call and make a reservation.
Elisa Putter we made reservations 3 months ahead, it's hard for them to answer all the phone calls they get so be patient and if they don't answer the phone keep calling back!
The lodge is already booked for 2018. Permits to hike went on sale February 1st and sold out in 15 minutes.
I am trying to get in contact but cant get through with the phone. it just rings for 10 min straigth. Any other options to get in contact?
BTW, very nice guide!
+Roy Hamers 😃
Sorry Roy! I'm new to youtube still trying to figure this out, I answered your question below ⬇⬇
+April Lorenz haha no problem! I'm going to make one big video. I'm from the Netherlands and going to make a roundtrip through the west coast! Thanks for all the info and the video for sure helped!
Does anyone know if you can mountain bike at this place
Why no swimming in the pools?
Very nice...I think we're going this year. Not sure if I can walk that far......
curtis wallace you can always just take the helicopter ☺
Going down is easier than going up. I was 50 when I did it and my first time backpacking. My daughter got some sort of rash and could not get her shoes on so we took the helicopter out.
mycatsmom1 - how much is the helicopter ride just one way?
Does an american know that in turkic language- Hava mean "air"
And Su means "water"
And these two words make a color combined together called as blue green-turquoiuse?
Turquouis is called so after blue stone of turks.(a turks stone)
Havasupai means people of the blue green water lmao
how much does a trip cost like this? thinking on doing this with my girlfriend this May.
Micah Tankersley well it depends on the amenities that you are looking to get (like the service of the mules, helicopter, meals) but I would say about $250 per person
It's actually Havasupai tribe, village of Supai, and Havasu Falls and Canyon.
