I have these and use them at all my big events, I did however have to upgrade my wireless mic as these scatter bomb surrounding frequencies! Impressive distance achieved 😎🎧👍🏻
CuePoints Podcast I had to switch off the wireless mic I had and plug a cable in! That’s why I got a new mic that works on a different frequency range and one that I can change frequency when needed 😎🎧👍🏻
@@RealLifeDJ Have to ask what did you 'upgrade' to? I had the same problem trying to use a wireless mic with my Alto System. With the Alto and Shure wireless mic going at the same time I had maybe 30 feet of range, very limited, sounded terrible and also had to unplug the wireless mic, however, it's possible to change the frequency on some Microphone units so it doesn't collide with the 500 mgz frequency that Alto runs on. There has to be a way to run both a wireless mic with this system, but I haven't found it. Yet.
Dwaine Luna I purchased a JTS 992 Wireless Mic system which runs on a separate frequency and it solved the issue. I did an unboxing of the mix I’ll post the link next. 😎🎧👍🏻
Alto also makes a Bluetooth XLR receiver so if you’d like to use your phone to play music on a dj speaker you can. I’m not familiar with any other wireless linking options that are more affordable than this
@@DjTecniq oh ok. Good to know. I just watched the product spotlight video on it and they only demonstrated it as a wireless solution for mics and instruments. But pretty cool that it can do audio as well. Great tool to use!
@@laentdj confirmed i just bought the Sennheiser xsw-d wireless xlr set and it worked beautifully as a remote speaker wirelessly transmitting the audio through a house all the way out to the car port. So to start I connected the transmitter dongle to the mix out on my (wired) K10 then connected the receiver dongle to the input on the back of my other K10. I used a belkin battery pack usb charger to keep the receiver’s battery from die’ing the transmitter dongle i kept plugged into power outlet with a long usb-c cable. Couldn’t believe the results. Impressive
is there a limit to how many receivers you can connect? How would you about connecting it if want to set up two sub and tops by wire, but have two tops on the other side of the room that would be wireless. Use the booth output? Would there be a delay issue?
You can actually purchase as many receivers as you want as long as they’re on the same channel as the transmitter, you’ll get signal. For that system I would put the transmitter out of one of the speakers next to your system and then use receivers for the speakers on the other side.
@@Ray-yt7mk You can get the one set. You would need 1 transmitter and 4 receivers unless you just use 2 receivers and use XLR to connect the sub and top. Hope that helped!

What did you have to do when the frequencies clashed?

We have not tested them for any live performances yet. As long as they’re close range they should work great

@@JamesAllred-Parasauce Yes, our antennas were placed high up above the average human height. There was a clear path between transmitter and receiver.
Try the Sennheiser XSW-D XLR wireless set yet? No cables just a transmitter and receiver pretty impressive.
That system is basically just for making a microphone wireless or a guitar/instrument. It’s not for the same use as the stealth system.

If I have tops and bottoms speakers like a pair of subs and a pair of tops speakers,do I need two sets of the alto?
I would think you only need to run into subs and xlr up to mains since subs have crossover is in sub and feeds into mains

Yes! We still use it on a regular basis for certain things. Works great

I bought that system, tried to use it and it doesn’t work, I changed channels and everything and doesn’t work …pure piece of crap !!
