SimpleSetups15: AKAI S1000 | TB-303 - Jungle

... ffs, I started this one in december 2023 smh.
TB-303: you guessed it.
S1000: everything else. Almost cracked 7MB on this one.
QuadraVerb: plate reverb
MidiVerb4: pingpong delays
Sequenced with renoise.
Mixed on my old crusty CR1604 VLZ through some mild 3630 compression.
Then EQed and limited digitally.
Some of the instruments were sampled from my Korg M1 keyboard. You may recognize the factory presets.
No it's not a real TB-303 but a RE-303 which is the same thing in my opinion.
Still need to paint the case and apply the decals to make everyone think it's a real one lol.
I've been on a rollercoaster ride of lack of motivation, minor health issues and having to move out of my studio due to renovations that are not going as planned. Fun times. But I'll be doing a lot more next year - mark my words lol. No but chances are high because I finally managed to find a larger mixing desk in good condition and I can't wait to take this badboy for a spin. Soundcraft K2 24 inna da house.
I hope the mix sounds somewhat alright. I was trying to get the highs to sound smoother without making them dull but still not sure if the balance is right. I'm hoping that the much better EQing capabilities of the K2 will improve things in the future. We'll see...
