What! In the Us and Europe she was told rhythms etc came from Europe and she believed it until she went to Africa! How come she, a black American believed it? I can't get my head round that. Thinking about it she may not be black that's why she believed it.
I agree with you...yo spot on. At one time in her life she must have denied her 'own' until realizing she is too dark to be white...an experience esp common with mixed race pple I guess
