Noticed the airbag light was on while you were driving. In UK that is an MOT (road worthy test) fail and would render the car illegal if driven with no MOT and is required every year. A specific BMW scanner can clear it for not much money. An old Z4 will probably need the roof motor repositioned to stop it failing. The coolant expansion tank and various belts and gaskets all need looking at at this mileage. Also the window cables and door handles become unreliable. The 6 cylinder engines are strong as is the running gear. This is good for a twenty year old car though and all are fixable without breaking the bank.
I bought my 04’ 2.5 liter E85 Z4 with 70k miles on it. I now have 107k miles on it in just 4 years of ownership. It is very reliable and as long as you address the “typical” BMW issues, it is a great car.
I have a 2004 Z4 3.0i with almost 61,000 miles, ordered it new (original owner). It is always garage kept and is in excellnt condition. Love this car, but I'm looking to sell. I just don't drive it that much plus I'm getting older. Nice video
I have the exact same spec but in manual and absolutely love it. I already put 20k miles in a year and it’s been great. If you can afford to lose the practicality with a two seater, you should get it!
@@DLCRMedia Yup! 😎 Everyday use, no matter how the weather's like lol 😅 Btw, Thailand is a tropical country so there's no snow but hot, hotter hottest weather instead, hardly winter 😆
Also worth considering the Coupe version. The convertible (E85) went to 2009 I think, the Coupe was 3.0L straight six only, 2006 to 2009 (Facelift styling same as the later E85s) Great vid
The Z4 can fit a foldable bike into it, both Birdy bike or Brompton bike, it is a surprisingly large boot. I always got my Z4 to shop for groceries at Costco. It is not a quick car but does great in handling and has a stylish exterior. To serve you the best feeling when driving this little convertible, have it in good shape about mechanics, then go for the mountains run, and you'll know what I mean.
I have a 2008 Mazda Miata 2.0 with soft top. Sometimes I am considering to buy a 3.0 z4 because of the engine. But I have some doubt’s relating reliability and handling of the z4
I invested over $7,000 this year in the new interior, ceramic sealant and new wheels on my 2003 Z4 E85 2.5i. I don't really care if I get it back if I sell it. It looks brand new and is no less striking than a Lamborghini, especially since the seats and parts of the doors are covered with original Lamborghini leather in the color Arancia Mira.

I'm interested in buying one. Where are you located?
So many out there with high mileage. Pretty reliable with the M54 and N52 engines.
Ayy thank you for the informational comment 🙏

Lots of issues definitely come up especially with the electronics and suspension components so i don’t blame you for being hesitant to buy
What an amazing car I’m tryna cop one

Super fun and good looking car!
U can buy mine dirt cheap
Hi...is great....i have one z4 year 2003 sport edition grey color....👍🏁
That’s awesome i hope you love it!
Fun fact. The 2.5si Z4 roadster will be neck to neck with the S2K. And the 3.2 Z4M roadster will rape the S2K to shreds.
Ay that’s good to know which one do you like better?
This is just not correct, s2000 is even more powerful than 3.0 and it is considerably lighter. Also comes with LSD standard.
I love mine , call him Boba Fett 07 3.Oi💪🏽
ayyy that's a super cool name! what a great car too keep enjoying it!
It looks like a brand new Miata
Yeah that’s actually facts!
it's a 6 cylinder Miata, I would take it just for the sound..
Z4 was built to be a driving machine. Not to make you look good while picking up groceries 😀
Well unfortunately that’s what most people use cars for nowadays
Never put groceries in a Z4
Very good advice 😂
its not zeeee 4 its zed 4
Haha fr
why do Americans pronounce it as "Zee" 4???, its supposed to be pronounced as "ZED" 4.
Very good point haha i gotta fix that!
Because we are American. 😂
