Gotta get my garlic in this week. Stupid weather here in Ontario. It’s still warm most days so I haven’t got it in yet. Won’t be long til it’s silly cold 🥶🇨🇦‼️

Gosh I would have only put 1 or 2 max of the elephant garlic in those size tubs - they can get really big if you allow them the space. Also, best to plant the garlic at least their size deep (not sticking out the top like onions)

I plant my garlic 4 inches deep...seems to work for me...always panic when other plot holders garlic shows and mine has'nt...but it shows by end of Jan and grows away...x

Garlic should be planted an inch or two deep, unlike onions.

Why didn't't you use the soil from the collapsed raised bed then top up the last bit with compost? Do you think white rot is in there also?

5 elephant garlic in one bucket and only 4 onions,,, I think I would have only put 3 and 2 of the elephant garlic in a bucket??

Think that garlic you put in the ground was the spare Elephant garlic? You had 5 planted 4 🤔

I hate those shopping cart locks! Annoying! And people still leave them in the lot. I have a painful knee and I don't want to walk carts back to corrals.
