I just got my ue hyperboom 2 and it sounds amazing! The bass sounds smooth as well 👌🏻
I just got one, the outdoor sound blew my mind for its size. Will use it for outdoor movie nights and anything music of course. Very happy.
Great review! Yes this is the 1st speaker I ever spent 400$ on. And it's worth every penny. I compared it to other competitors in the same price range And this is the one I chose. I absolutely love it! Nice clarity and booming BASS.

i got one when they first came out and loved it. i also hate spending the big bucks when there are so many good value, great sounding bt speakers out there now. however, my hifi addiction got the best of me and i got a second one. i had to hear them in stereo. Well, OMGoodness... especially if i turn them both up to 100%, the experience is absolutly mind blowing!!! i still struggle with my decission to spend that much but, you only live once, and addiction can be expensive, lol!

here where I live is so much more expensive that they stopped selling those speakers at the Megaboom 3 - which I have six of them and now - while charging my first Hyperboom - I'm feeling excited and anxious about HAVING TO BUY another one! Oh my dog!!!

I got 2 of em on black Friday, I sadly chose it over the Boombox 3. The speaker is worth every penny.
I could feel the bass in my concrete floor. That thing is a monster among speakers.

@@afsutton89 Nope, I've been using jbl speakers for quite a while. I wanted to try something new. The UE is loaded with a lot of features the Boombox will never get. i don't regret anything.

Funny that you mentioned trying this in your car. That is exactly what I'm planning to do! My 91 Buick beater has all of the original stereo equipment and I don't want to ruin it. This speaker should let me enjoy some tunes on the go. And then pretend like I've got a high end system installed lol

My Hyperboom is still my #1 speaker 3 years later, over all my others bigger and smaller. Its the perfect Bluetooth speaker. Amazing sound quality, even bigger sound, and imo the best ergos and physical shape/size/weight. Its a rectangle simple as that, the smartest design for value per space. It fits right on any shelf, or floor, can turn a party on 10 instantly. Good review bro.

Bought this speaker 2 weeks ago at best buy for 60 bucks off reg price of 4 hundred.i have not used any of my other 14 speakers yet. Thats how great it is to me.not even my pb 100 or jbl boombox.by the way, adaptive eq mic. Is on top back corner. This thing is awsome inside n out doors.

I have a hyperboom a megaboom and two boom 2s synched together and I have played music for parties in arenas..they are simply amazing speakers...the booms sound like a jbl studio speaker when they are synched with the mega and hyper it's like they are boosted more somehow..its just crazy what they are capable of doing...

Man you are so right about people who have to screw around with the eq when it is perfect out of the box. I just got the JBL Go 3 and to me that's got the best bass response for a speaker that's that small. I know the new bose sounds a little better but it's bigger and twice the price. You had me laughing on your pool video and the Go 3 sunk like a rock Lol. I've been a speaker guy since I got my first tape recorder when I was 10 back in 1972. I clicked like, subscribed rang the bell. Great job.

I’ve owned one of theese still to this day best speaker I’ve ever owned big sound for such a small speaker. I’ve owned the Sony xp 700 and the JBL PartyBox 710. This speaker is pretty loud for its size and has incredible bass. Perfect for a relaxed night with some friends or have to sit in your room will fill the place with bass very well. It’s surprised me very much so. 1000% recommend.

I own a Sony surrounded system in my room as well as 2 10inch subs in my car with a 1000 watts amp. This sounds better than every one of those. And it fits in my backpack! Absolutely insane. The only problem nothing else sounds good anymore

I love my Hyperboom! Only takeaway is that if i go to the beach all day, there isnt a place to plug in the speaker to keep a charge and we're usually at the beach a good 7 hours during the summer with music blasting at 100.....we get a good 3 to 4 hours at full blast. Can you recomment me an affordable power supply brick one mine, id ont want to plug anything in and mess up the battery!

I got 3 UE BT speakers and a pair of UE in ear monitors..the deal breaker for me was the charging port. How do they go USB on most of their speakers then use a power brick for this...too bad

I don't understand how the Hyperboom is not available in the US, here in Austria it's since longtime available, my first one was the Boom 3, later on I purchase the Megaboom 3, and after a little while I bought the Hyperboom...!

great review, I have my opinion that the model is not designed for the 2021 consumer in mind, based on the fact its input doesn't include USB C, not sure if you feel similarly but for that reason I rather yet for the brand to update the device to be more future proof.
In this case, The lack of USB-C is not a deal breaker for me. The audio performance is worth the inconvenience. In other products it would have been a deal breaker, but not this time
