I didn't try Indian food until I was quite old .. I didn't think I would like it because I heard it was heavily spiced. Can I tell you now that it is my absolute most favorite food ever. I love it. It's great that you're introducing different cultured foods at a young age. Your son will have a very varied palette as he grows up. I'm so glad he decided to at least try it -- that's what I always taught my kids .. just take a bite, try it; you'd be amazed what you'd end up liking.
I am from India... Never have I ever had mango lassi in my life... Its not even an Indian dish... It was made just for foreigners...... The authentic lassi is unbeatable❤

Go to the banks of river ganges at haridwar and try vegetarian food...... And then go to kashi and try Indian Vegetarian food.... Lots of taste and very very different.

This is great parenting teaching to branch out the child’s taste buds and try new things. Picking something out for the child too is great because you know what your kid likes but the child is still taking the chance to try something new. This is beautiful I remember first time trying Indian food we went to a restaurant where you sit on cushion and you eat with your fingers they gave us a bowl and wash our hands in the warm water in a kettle huge bowl caught the dirty water they took that and cleaned the table before setting down our food my dad picked out what i got because everything is on a big dish to share❤getting him to pick hisnown drink is also really good! And you get something you know the child would like if what the child picks you are sure the child doesn’t like that way you can trade. 😉
Glad to see a kid open to trying new things! My kids always sat in the kitchen with me while cooking!! Teaching them about ingredients and participating as well. They were eating sushi at 3 years old!! And never ordered from the kids menu!! Needless to say they have an expensive palate!
India is a very diverse in its food. Each state has got its unique flavourful ones, right from its starters, main courses both in vegetarian and non-vegetarian and desserts. You guys have to come to India and taste them. ❤❤❤❤
