Amazing, I just got a 2014 Jaguar XJR, AMAZING car at 21k miles. Whats your oppinion on using the recommended engine oil, but using other motor oil brands besides CASTRO?

How does these hold up maintenance wise? Jaguar has had a pretty rough history of very poor reliability, just wondering how these fair?? Would rather have a regular shifter than that hockey puck style! Heard they can actually get stuck & not rise!?
Spot on, Steve. Every time a new Jaguar is tested a German car buff slags off its reliability. I've had seven and only one had any problems, caused mostly by a mechanic!
Found a used 2016 Jaguar XJR for sale at my local Jaguar dealership with only 210 miles for $67,000. Sounds like an absolute steal but I am very skeptical of the price, why would it be so low??

Go for it if its from a JAGUAR DEALERSHIP !!!!! JAGUARS depreciation is very high because the market goes for the Germans competition. If still skeptical, order a pre inspection with motor oil analysis, however, you would be under warranty for 4 yrs 60k miles, so dont worry, just accept the awesome deal.....did you get it??????
