I know... as an artist that when someone notices a detail it is just eekkk... so from one artist to another. The sepia toned outro was so perfect!!!! Also the food and table scape looked like something out of Bon Appetite Magazine!!!! Bravo Bravo!!!!!
It's so funny because I'm also an artist and I loved the sepia tones too. It really looked like a vintage Italian family dinner. I also loved using the tomatoe cans for holding the breadsticks.
And the use of the tomatoes for the table decor. Brilliant!!!

You and Romeo look so happy to share your home with your family. That's really what it's about, having family and close friends enjoy your hard work. When you walk in someone's home you get a piece of who they are. My mom always made our home beautiful. She had 12 children and a tight budget but our home felt cozy. My adult children still say "our mom always made our house beautiful." It's not about what you spend it's all the love that goes into decorating. Glad you had fun. Beautiful party.💖

I live in Italy since 2014 and I can tell you… you nailed it! Some history here: in Italy (mainly in the southern regions) at the end of summer you collect all vegetables (tomato, zuchinni, eggplants…) and you make preserves. All the family helps and it becomes a party itself. Kind of this one! ❤❤❤
When I saw you taking out the flower vases, and the china and all the things, and remember you shopping and shopping and shopping! It felt so right that you knew exactly how to use all those things, and they all come together. As so many have said here, this is what it's all for, the family the love, the good times, the memories!
Its so satisfying to collect beautiful china and finally be able to use it. Can't wait to do that for my own home one day 🤞🤞
As a 47yo Gen X'er, that plastic tablecloth brought back memories, and for us, it was always used on top of whatever linen or paper tablecloth that was being used as decor. It protected the tablecloth and table from spills and was easier to wipe down after dinner instead of removing everything and resetting the table.
Perfect for babies and young children that way. No upset over stains in the tablecloth when they spill. Just wipe it up and keep smiling!
My family would use it as a daily topper to protect the table and then remove it during parties. We even kept paper recipes under the clear lining.
Yeah that’s the point of plastic cover over the tablecloth…it’s just not making sense otherwise…
Reminded me of Seinfeld - the parents had plastic over everything!

If you’re going to be the baking queen, highly recommend a kitchen scale. It will increase your success rate dramatically-and then you can use your pretty things for scooping instead of measuring!!

For the spam calls - iPhone edition - go to settings > phone > silence unknown callers > turn on. The call will show as a missed call under recents and folks can leave a voicemail but the phone will not ring or show as an incoming call and disrupt what you are doing. It’s been a lifesaver!

At first I guess bebe was crying but we all heard you say he's laughing and Cade sounds so cute! There's nothing more important then having family or friends near by gathering together. The greenery needs to be low and wide so people can see each other across the table. However, the table scapes is gorgeous! I would have never thought of tomatoes but they look so beautiful spread down your table! You dream kitchen and all of your planning and hard work is just perfect for big family gatherings making memories together. That’s what I remember the most about growing up. The Aunts, Uncles, Grandma and all of the cousins together and joy from being together ❤️

This theme was the cutest! When you have your cut flower garden, order cinnamon basil and amaretto basil from Jonny seeds.. so easy to grow from seed. I have a 2 x 4 bed full of aromatic cinnamon basil..just know right when you cut them they will wilt.. but give them a day and they will perk back up. The table scape looks beautiful

When baking it’s advised that when mixing anything to put a damp tea towel onto your worktop just incase you spilt something and your dish moves and falls but it will protect you pots from sliding when mixing hope it helps x

I know it doesn't have anything to do with me but I so enjoyed seeing you and Romeo cooking and enjoying the kitchen you worked so hard on. The kitchen was beautiful but I love to see a kitchen get used, as a cook and baker.
And also, that tablescape… I just saved this episode to look back on it. ❤❤❤That is probably my favorite thing in the whole wide world… Only thing is, make sure that your flower arrangements aren’t so tall that they cover peoples faces when they’re trying to look across from each other… You might probably take them out when you’re actually eating… But oh my goodness I love love love the seeded eucalyptus!

Tip for the table cloth: My mom always used plastic tablecloths growing up, but then she got a piece of acrylic cut to the size of the table and never went back. It’s seriously a game changer, and it super easy to clean, store, and it was lightweight!

San Diego made me fall in love with woodfired pizza watching Romeo in the zone flipping that pizza I was like I Need That! You always out do yourself but now you do it without even trying. Everything was top tier straight out of Vogue magazine beautiful ❤️

I love what you do and your gumption. I have done for a few years. Since before the Cottage in Texas. I love your new kitchen in LA and I love watching your little family thrive and make your life’s cozy and beautiful. Although I’m danish, you remind me a little of the Swedish children’s story character Pippi Long Stocking - she says “I never tried that before, so I’m sure I can do it”. I don’t remember ever seeing you do a bad job.
But….. I know you want to protect your new lovely dining table in the kitchen, but in my opinion you should not use the clear plastic in a visible way. You know it doesn’t really matter if something spills on it. I know that to you the table is very precious but it’s only going to look a little more rustic and loved. I use my table like that all of the time and hardly anything is ever spilled on it. It’s just my opinion - but maybe something to consider for another time. Apart from that the table scape looked fantastic and I will as always be looking forward to the next vlog XOXO

…Clever idea about using the empty tomato cans for the bread sticks! Next party; you could make your own - from YOUR recipe! In fact, a great party favor would be to give a small tied-up bunch for each one to take home. Or, use empty small tomato paste cans and plant a little basil plant in each - a great way to decorate the table, and for each guest to take home! ❤️🥰🍅🍃🥫🍕🍷
