@@HalStargazer Of course I’ve seen it. I didn’t say politics weren’t involved, I said it’s not the place for it. It still happens which is unfortunate. But no one cares about a silly nickname. Standing in solidarity with your fellow players against racial abuse in football is a different thing. It’s still political and an argument can be made that taking the knee is unnecessary in football and I also disagree with players getting stick for not doing it. But as I said, when it comes to Lionesses, it’s just a nickname and nobody cares. So no, I’m not in cloud cuckoo land.

@@HalStargazer I guess that’s partially to do with the fact that they became Redskins under a man who openly supported racial segregation. As well as the fact that there has been a long standing debate as to whether or not redskin is an offensive term since before it was called being “woke”.
