I said how much I liked his bit for Soarin’ and he asked me how it tuned out? He had never been on the ride or saw his performance at the time! I told him it was great!

The rock is based on the Chinese Scholar Rocks in Chinese gardens! You're meant to spend time looking at them as a meditation/creative thought exercise when walking through the garden! (I only noticed it there a few months ago on my trip since I took a Landscape Design History class a few months prior! )

I was at WDW last week and Soarin's wait was abnormally short pretty much all week. The wait was essentially just the amount of time it took to walk the queue a few times for us.
A few YT vloggers on the West Coast for awhile have noted the same thing about DL & its neighboring park. Politics & the economy are apparently affecting things.
