I agree... Dwights character was the star of that show... he would fall into a stream of consciousness of insanity that was akin to Robin Williams but even more brilliant... and it couldn't have been scripted because it came too fast. It's also odd how men with charisma are often miserable. Peppard sounds a lot like Van Johnson who was also charismatic but who lived a miserable, depressed life. Peter Sellers was like that also. I guess it goes with the territory.

A number of big movie stars made the transition back to TV - James Garner in 'The Rockford Files', for one. Also, whilst I'm not defending Peppard, it should also be noted that in later seasons, Mr. T reportedly became very diva-ish - which came to a head during filming of s4's 'Judgement Day', where Mr. T found members of the crew sitting at a dining table reserved for him, walked off the set (they were filming on an ocean liner at the time; which is why B.A. barely features in the second half of that story), and initially refused to return unless the crew in question were fired; Peppard refused to speak to him for a time afterwards, as he thought T's actions were out of line, and said that if the crew members in fired, then he would leave too. In all my years of A-Team documenting, although Peppard certainly had his nose put out of joint by Mr. T's popularity eclipsing his role in the series, it does appear that both could be as bad as each other on occasion.

When I was 19 I worked in a bicycle shop and I sold 2 bikes to George Peppard- he and his wife at the time came into the shop- and about the only thing I remember is that his wife swore like a drunken sailor the entire time. She wasn’t angry or anything, she was actually in a very good mood- but every other word out of her mouth was an expletive spoken at high volume. I can’t even imagine what she might have been screaming to get him to hit her with a frying pan.
Was she.."Elizabeth Ashley", she was known as a good-natured hell raiser, they were married twice, one son, she wrote a Hollywood bio, in it she both disparaged and praised him

My dad love Dwight Schultz’s character on the A Team. He would laugh at howling Mad s antics
Peppard was a movie star! This was a great answer!! Murdoch! I LOVED the ATeam
great actor the glue of the series. kinda the cherry on top of the cake he added that other dimension
It sounded like he respected him though in many ways.
That's interesting. Was George Peppard a passionate cyclist?
I have no idea- They bought a couple of bikes, 15 speed Treks. Peppard never said more than 4 words. His wife never stopped but to take a breath.
@@christopherpardell4418 Thanks for your answer.
Was she.."Elizabeth Ashley", she was known as a good-natured hell raiser, they were married twice, one son, she wrote a Hollywood bio, in it she both disparaged and praised him
joseph keck - yep... that was her.
And she chain smoked the entire time she was in the shop.
George Peppard,I like him, good actor,he had the most beautiful blue eyes
R.I.P. George Peppard.❤
good story- i like you guys in a-team- and i think peppard was great- whatever happened behind the camera- it came out great on tv !! thanx for that an god bless you
What a gentlemanly way of saying George was an azz. Dwight is a class act guy.
Sang the A-Team theme this morning.
This has now appeared in my recommendations.
Careful what you type. Government algorithms are watching us.
Dun dada daaaaaa, dun dun duuuuhn! Those are the only lyrics that sound familiar to me. :D
Its worse. Sometimes I just think about something and videos related to my thoughts are recommended to me.
Dwight Schultz. I have enjoyed watching you playing Murdock. Murdock reminded me of Jim Carrey from In Living Colors. I like Murdock sense of humor on the show. I thank God for the character you have played back in the day. It means a lot to me. Murdock has kept me laughing and smiling and making me forget having a hard day. May God bless you with greater health, a lot of joy, and healing in your body and mind, and soul. More love and support to you, Dwight Schultz. Take care and Be safe.
I’m fireman Fred and if they ask, I’m dressed in red, I’m fireman Fred !
A Team For ever ❤❤😍😍😘.
Best wishes from germany
I enjoyed that. Not too sure if George was a really nasty piece of work, or as Dwight appears to be suggesting that it was just perhaps his work ethic.
I love it when a plan comes together ! RIP Hannibal Smith
Just by Chance i found this Channel !!! Wow Dwight schulz is amazing and aged very gracefully !! Murdock and b.a ( and the van !) where my two favoritos .. but i Loved all of them , peppard, face man ( and his corvetas! )..
Such Great Child Memorys ... Great Music theme .. still Listen to it .. but i have t rewatch the Show !
Thanks ..
By the way in school everybody Said i was the murdock
And people think William Shatner was hard to work with. Shatner may have been a bit difficult at times, but he doesn't sound like the uncooperative diva that Peppard was said to be.
Watch Shatner's interview with Walter Koenig. Shatner comes clean on his behaviour and says sorry.
@@Scorp308 - That's not true though. He doesn't "come clean". He says he didn't realize that the minor actors on Star Trek felt that way about him and he apologized about it.
@@handsolo1209 It is true. It's on video.
Dwight Schulz yg berperan sebagai HM Murdock, pilot hebat yg bisa menerbangkan segala jenis pesawat terbang di film seri The A Team.Film seri TV yang populer di era tahun 1980an, dan saya adalah penonton setia nya
that was a pretty accurate representation of peppard. he really didnt embellish at all. that was dead on. gotta love candor. no bs just put the facts out there.
what george didnt realize is....... it had been years since "tiffanys" and truth be told nobody knew who in the fuck he was when A team came out,
THANKS for posting
