  • Just want to chime in with my experience with kratom and the withdrawals. Lucemyra is a no go for me personally. Knocks me out too much. Didn't want to turn this in to a sermon, but Jesus loves you right where you are and so do I.... 💪😎

    After 4 years of using kratom ,i started getting panic attacks that would last for hours, on a regular basis,for 6 months. Very scary feeling. When i was withdrawing i would get panic attacks out of nowhere.. I had enough of that, and tapered myself off kratom. I was taking a lot everyday ,spending all my money on kratom, and kratom shots.. Wasted a lot of money. But now im sober . Mentally, and physically i was getting sick of kratom.

      @@mimi2613 Yeah its the Kratom creating the panic attacks.. They went away after i got off the kratom.. But it was very very hard to sober up off the kratom. You will get major panic attacks when you withdrawal.. Well it depends how much and how long you've done kratom.. Your body is rejecting the kratom.. Bud... Absolutely. I would literally make 5 piles of pills. 10 pills in each pile. Each pill 10 mg.... I was on pain management for over 12 yrs. I took 15 Roxy 30s at a time just to feel normal which is why I ended up switching over to the domes. I wish I was lying cuz it was the worst part of my life. I was in so many opioids that it literally destroyed my bodies ability to produce testosterone. I have to give myself injections every week for the rest of my life just to have optimal levels of hormones. When my doctor cut me off out of nowhere cuz I came into his office and told him I was getting help to get off and this was my last time to see him... (He was a crook and ended up getting arrested) I thought I was going to die. Every morning my sheet were literally soaking wet from sweat. I had to wash my sheets everyday. I was producing so much saliva that I would fill up 520 oz bottles from spitting in it. Leading up to that I was constipated for 7 days. And finally when it came out I filled that toilet up at least five times. Even though I was deathly sick I felt so much relief from not having taken a poop in 7 days. I have no reason to make any of this up man. I was on extremely high doses of pills. I spent a week in the hospital from detox and off of Xanax. My brother said I went into a seizure and it looked like I was levitating off the bed. The only thing I remember is waking up to the paramedics being beside me. The paramedic thought I was faking the funk but then I threw up all over her... And spent the next 7 days in the hospital. Even to this day whenever I have a surgery cuz I've had to have over five in the last 4 years I have to take way more pills than the average person cuz my tolerance is permanently wrecked.

    Took a few grams 3-4 times a day, everyday for like 7 years or so. I started having weird symptoms like there was something wrong with my sinuses which was causing my ears to feel clogged. I'm about 95% sure the kratom fucked up my gut biome which caused an overgrowth of the naturally occuring yeast in the body which got so bad (because I had no idea what was causing it for awhile) that it got out of control. Worse yet, when I stopped taking kratom it got even worse, my guess is because kratom is a natural antifungal that while disrupting my gut balance by killing the good stuff it was also somewhat keeping the bad stuff at bay because antifungals indiscriminately kill. This is why taking antifungal medication can cause this same overgrowth. Guess what the symptoms of this overgrowth are? Diarrhea, Lethargy, Brain fog, pretty much the same withdrawal symptoms that kratom gives you so it was way worse for me. Now I'm on a strict diet with probiotic supplements hoping that it's gonna help. My sinus issues have gone mostly away but my gut is still super sensitive and I think it's having trouble absorbing nutrients so I find it hard to do tasks I once did easily AND I've had to work during this entire hell. I can't eat any sugar or carbs, basically keto but even more strict. It sucks, don't take kratom kids.

    Detoxing from kratom is nothing compared to opiate withdrawal! And has helped so many people throughout their opiate withdrawal. But addictive behavior continues until one heals from past trauma …

    • @ramzo1538
      @ramzo1538  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It absolutely is just like opioid withdrawal but not as intense. All the same symptoms. Restless legs. Insomnia. Diarrhea. Irritability. Lack of appetite. They play on the same exact receptors as opioids do, so it will have the same symptoms but nowhere is near as strong. I was addicted to pain medication for 18 years so I can personally speak on this. And yes past trauma definitely needs to be dealt with. But even once past trauma has been dealt with you still have habits that you need a break from years of having them. For some people like myself even though I've been off all the hard stuff for over 10 years I still take things that alter my mood whether it be caffeine pre-workouts or whatever else.

I really enjoyed the feeling I got from taking these different substances but never allowed myself to take more than a small amounts at a time, and always gave myself days off in between. But that doesn’t mean I’m not an addict… just a very cautious one ;) lmao

      @@Spiritsong1111 hahaha... My hats off to you! Ya... When you get up to that 30 gram a day average and being on that for a long time is def a different beast. I would do my 1st dose when I woke up around 6ish and by 10 am I would start having withdrawal symptoms. Something I never experienced with pain pills. But the mental pull is less with Kratom. I wouldn't be able to have pain meds in the house and not give in.
      Kratom is definitely the lesser of 2 evils and I will always be pro natural than big pharma. Unfortunately, a lot of big retailers of Kratom manipulate their products to be stronger. I'm really glad you are able to control your "addiction" cuz most ppl cannot 💪😎💯

    I have recently become suspicious of, and rather attribute some of my 'new-found' hurdles in life to fact that I've been taking Kratom. Regularly, on a daily basis of about 4-5x 8-12g per day.
    I kicked a more than decade-long, or perhaps closer to 15 years addiction to OxyContin about a year ago now, (120mg/day...although, admittedly 'boosted' by some Xanax and/weed.)....I am aware of that most here will doubt that there indeed exist such unfortunate 'unique' people like me. I can not blame you however - since I haven't been able to find a Dr., or even ONE text on Google which describes a 'case such as mine' (although I have personally met 2, in my lifetime!).
    Either way...I did a rather fast, aggressive taper on both the Oxys and the benzos. I had the absolute worst time of my life, where the most 'acute' phase' lasted for 2 months or so....before it got at least a bit better. But sadly not much better though....every time I wake up in the mornings, I still wake up feeling just like I did on day 6 or so after the 'detox'. (Freezing all the way 'to the bone', eyes and nose were running, week and lethargic, and the like - you know the drill. PS. I just wanted to clarify I'm NOT talking about PAWS here - but actual physical symtoms of withdrawal...despite all this time!)
    Until, I just couldn't stand it anymore....So then I turned towards Kratom, which I know have been using daily for 6-9 months or so.
    And for a while it did seem to take away most of these, strange physical symtoms (which simply SHOULD not still be there after 3-4 months!). Anyway, I there and then started to take it to make my days - in particular mornings - since then.
    (Just to explain some of my writing below - I once took methadone [regularly for 3-4 years], and it took me 13 years to get fully recovered from. I know - sonds like fictions...But I have lived it, so I after all know!)
    I have, as of perhaps the last couple of months, believed that I've seen both my physical and mental-well-being has gotten worse. And at other times when I've felt bad - I could most definitely 'trace it' to taking Kratom.
    To make a long story at least some shorter....I've decided to try go off the Kratom. Or, no - I have DECIDED to go off Kratom. And in my rather particular 'situation', with my former experiences - including the one from a year ago....I am hoping that it in fact IS Kratom that is either making me sicker, or even IS the very thing that makes me sick, as of now.
    If so - I will feel at least more or less better than I do right now! Even though of course my "dream-scenario" would be that I, after some time after having quit Kratom, will get essentially 'totally restored'.

    • @ramzo1538
      @ramzo1538  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll be rooting for you bud. At my worse I was taking 15 roxy 30s just to not get sick. I've done permanent damage to my stomach from all the years of taking pills. I will say this while detoxing off of kratom I get extremely touchy and angry. I feel terrible for my wife while I was going through these things cuz I'd get real snappy which goes completely against my natural character. I've found out the more times I take kratom per day the faster I start feeling withdrawal symptoms throughout the day. I unfortunately got back on it again due to a major foot surgery I just had 3 months ago and I'm now tapering off also. I do believe it affects your mental well-being. Please keep me posted on your progress and we'll both encourage each other.

    • @MrZenGuitarist
      @MrZenGuitarist ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ramzo1538 I will! I've gone down from 11-12g 4 times a day til 8g 4 times a day...
      And yes - it definitively affects my mental well-being...if you indeed could call it that after having endured physical opiate-withdrawals for an entire year now.
      I feel as if there's really nothing left of me...have zero energy, drive, motivation, ability to feel even the faintest traces of 'happiness' (honestly, cannot even remember how it feels anymore - to NOT feel a crushing depression weighing down on me!).
      I've "had" to put EVERYTHING else aside...socializing, hobbies, fun - I've had to 'psyche me up' and zeroing in on this one goal...'cause I simply don't have neither the physical nor mental 'drive' to manage anything else.
      If I still do not feel better, even after coming off Kratom - I feel I have only one 'thing' left to try: Ibogaine....but, I really do hope it won't have to come to that (not least 'cause of the economical issue).
      So, for now - I'm 'just' singled in on this one goal: coming off Kratom + pray for the best!
      I wish you the best of luck my friend.
