huh interesting. I actually kinda enjoy Age of Extinction yet this movie I just....think it's eh. I mean AoE is also eh but entertaining eh. Also the fandom really took to the ship of Prime/Cade and unlike most ships out there it's actually not AWFUL so good job fandom.

Damn really? I actually think this has the best script out of the three sequels. I understand if people don't like because it's goes really meta, but this has been my favorite sequel for a while. It's so self aware and it feels like an epic finale to franchise. What the hell happened to his dialogue in the Transformer movie? The dialogue is extremely witty in this movie and Sydney has her best character work since the original. Plus, I love that it has a third act like the original with all the main characters being in one location for a huge set piece. I guess the writer was well past his prime at that point. Scream 4 is also an example of literally everyone being past their prime. It feels like a poor imitation of a Scream movie and I doubt I will ever watch it again.

@@zonastarwars4397 I think it's about trilogies in general, not horror trilogies.
Also most horror trilogies are not real trilogies, as they were not planned from the start.
From what I know Williamson planned Scream as trilogy.
However original Williamson's idea for part 3 was different, then the one we got in S3.
And yeah, sure it was a bit farfetched.
Anyway, it was such a powerful moment in S3, if only S3 was a better movie, so Randy's death would felt more justified :)
      Cheers!

as a scream movie. It's the weakest because the thing that made Scream so good is that managed to tow the line between being a self aware slasher without going into self parody. Scream 3 just throws that out the window and it becomes a parody of itself. Making it feel more like "Scary Movie". The first is the best one, but I don't think any of them are bad movies. I'd still rather watch the whole Scream filmography than a lot of other horror.
As for Nightmare and Friday, I think there are some really great sequels throughout those franchises, but some of them are complete ass. And Halloween has a lot of meh movies, but 4 and 5 are guilty pleasures because I love Danielle Harris as Jamie.

The reason I think that is because just before he reveals himself to Sidney, he shows up wearing the same bodybag/sheet that Sidney was supposedly having visions of earlier, and he's using their mother's voice with the voice changer.

But your point on Matthew Lillard, the first time I watched Scream 1, I always suspected Billy, so I wasn't surprised, but when Stu showed up I was floored, and then it all made sense somehow that Ghostface could be anywhere and everywhere and in my head at times, one of them would call while the other would seek out to kill. It blew my mind cause normally it's always one killer, seeing two was a complete shock. Loved Scream 2 just as much as the first.

Patrick Dempsey's character was too obvious to be the killer which is why I was pretty sure he wasn't. However, I like the idea that we don't find out for sure (at least in this movie).
It's similar to how I suspected that maybe Cotton Weary was the real killer of Sidney's mom even despite his redemption in the sequel (which was great, I was very happy for him provided he had been wrongly accused). Actually, I can still consider that theory viable with Billy and Stu just messing with Sidney, and Roman here doing the same.
