I'm a veteran and I didn't have an issue with the players warming up on the field towards the conclusion of their drill performance. I'm very certain that leadership of the teams, stadium staff, and the Marines were aware of time constraints and expectations beforehand. Military service members, especially Marines, are trained to operate and focus on the mission in noisy and hostile environments. For a SILENT drill team trained with extreme focus and discipline, those players were "invisible," trust me! If anything, this so-called disrespectful distraction makes their performance all the more impressive. ❤❤❤ Semper Fi (US Navy '85-'89)
Thank you for this reaction! Please pray for us in Florida! About to get hit head on with hurricane Milton. This video is getting my mind off the hurricane.
They show us all why I'm so Proud to be an American. ❤❤ Love From Michigan and it's a beautiful evening ❤️ Please let Us all Pray for those who have can't afford to leave hurricane Militon 🙏 also those who have lost a Loved one between both hurricanes 😢😢
This was wonderful to watch. And as always, a heartfelt thank you for your respect and honor to All American servicemen! I enjoyed this. Thank you both! ♥️🇺🇸
If there’s one things Americans respect, it’s the people who choose to serve in out military. When I can, I like to pay the bill for veterans in restaurants anonymously.
If you want to see a really good video of them indoors go check out USMC Silent Drill Platoon at Gallatin High School 2016. (you will want the 13:42 video)
Mind you that the players have an exceptionally tight schedule and only have a certain amount of time to come out after Halftime. Kickers and punters especially need the warm up because they are usually some of the first people to act, but they get the least amount of time on the field. It's the same reason that we have repeated commercials during the games.
Notice that all the enlisted uniforms have red piping along the seams. The officer was in the solid blue and carried the sword. The sword, if you remember from the Marine Corps Hymn, “To the shores of Tripoli,”… Is the same type of sword, the Mameluke Sword, which was originally given to Lieutenant Presley O'Bannon in 1805 by a Mameluke chieftain in North Africa.
The players should not have entered the field until the Marines left it. That was so disrespectful. Our Marines fight for freedom and these fools fight for a point. I'm so proud of those Marines and so disgusted with those players!
The US is not N Korea. We are not forced to respect the military, or any other institution or individual. For example, I think that Martin Luther King Jr is deserving of respect. But many Americans choose not to honor him on the national holiday dedicated to his legacy. That's perfectly acceptable. It's called freedom.
I was highly disappointed that the football players showed such disrespect for our military by coming on field and warming up while our brave Marines were doing their drill. Why? Do the football teams think they are better than our Marines? Disrespectful. Plain and simple. 😡
You saw how much disrespect the league has done in the past, with the kneeling for the National Anthem. Those a-hole players wouldn’t have a country where they could make insane amounts of money playing a game if it wasn’t for service members
I quit watching the NFL years ago. When Kapernick took a knee and others followed I quit. Those overpaid crybabies are not worth my time. I still root for The Ohio State Buckeyes but no NFL. Seeing this just strengthens my resolve.
When you have millions riding on TV obligations and the networks don't give a phuck that you took 20 minutes to walk out on the field and lost a hat, that is what happens! THEY had a specific time window to perform and ran long.....if it were any other performance, they would have done the same thing! IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THINKING THEY ARE BETTER THAN ANYONE! THE BOYS MISSED THE GIVEN TIME THAT THEY SAID THEY COULD PERFORM IN! PERIOD! THEY KEW BEFORE HAND....RUN LONG....WE START WITHOUT YOU GETTING DONE!
I agree... disturbed me that any coach would allow their players to do that...Do they not understand that they are all living their lives because of the sacrifices of others? And these men and women? Fantastic to see that skill... unreal
I think and still think the football players and especially the coaches showed a huge amount of disrespect to the Drill Platoon. They could have waited just a very few minutes before coming into the field.
When Colin Kaepernick took a knee to protest police violence during the National Anthem it reinvigorated my interest in the NFL. Players using their platforms to fight for democratic rights is of great benefit to our country.
REMEMBER PEOPLE.....LIKE IT OR NOT......THEY HAVE A TELEVISION SCHEDULE THAT THEY HAVE TO HIT...PERIOD ! YOU MAY THINK IT DISRESPECTFUL, BUT THE NETWORKS DONT GIVE A PHUCK! THERES MILLIONS IN REVENUE DRIVING HOW "PRECISE" THEY HAVE TO BE! PLUS, HAD THEY NOT SPENT 20 MINUTES WLKING OUT ON THE FIELD AND LOST A HAT.....THEY WOULD HAVE MADE TO TIME WINDOW!

Yes it may be impressive but it also was extremely disrespectful and shameful

What a cool video! Thank you for reacting to this. The look on your faces are priceless. God Bless the troops all over the world.
Thank you for always showing such respect for our military! My brother was a proud American Marine and these drill platoons make me proud ❤️
These guys ALWAYS give me goosebumps. Just flippin' incredible. Thank you so much for posting this!
carols face priceless
It was fun to watch this again.

Fun to watch my old platoon still going strong
Hope your mostly unpacked and feeling organized. Stress sucks!😊❤

Wonderful display of practice makes perfect! So proud of our armed forces!❤
Widow of a Marine..the Marines are amazing and they are the few ..the proud.. the US Marine Corps..
Watch the indoor version at Gallatin High School from a few years ago. The video is of a better quality...
Should also check out the changing of the guard of the unknown soldier tomb, and then there's an awesome song by Trace Adkins named Arlington

Agree the teams should have waited!!! Disrespectful!
Morning all
I agree completely that the football players practicing during the silent drill was disrespectful.

But many Americans choose not to honor him on the national holiday dedicated to his legacy. That's perfectly acceptable. It's called freedom.
The teams definitely did not show respect… it is just a game.

Our own government doesn’t respect our military, but you mad about some football game.
I think and still think the football players and especially the coaches showed a huge amount of disrespect to the Drill Platoon. They could have waited just a very few minutes before coming into the field.
While this is a great video you should check out a video where they are on a hard surface.

THE TEAMS SHOULD NOT HAVE GOT ON THE FIELD UNTIL THE MARINES WERE DONE. DISRESPECT.
