Hey, I hope you enjoyed this weeks episode 🙏🙌 Let's share some tips, how do you deal with heat during your bike trips and do you have some bike packing (secret) tips? Hope to see you next week for a new adventure 👌🤘
You should it was very bike friendly - with only few exceptions - the people drive very carefully and the scenery is amazing. In next weeks episode, I cross the rest of the country 🚲🙌
Such an adventure, thank you for taking us along and sharing your highs and lows! You're doing great and learning a lot, it's the kind of adventure you think fondly back on when you're old and reminiscing. Already looking forward to your next video!
This is obviously a very beautiful content, and I'm now subscribed, but I just couldn’t stomach so much riding in traffic. Did that incidentally for 2 hours in western Slovakia today, as I had to ditch off-road routes and forrest trails due to time constraints. Beautiful hilly countryside, but the cars buzzing you, as you fear that someone may be watchless, or you lose some balance on those tiresome climbs as a car passes you. Felt like a russian roulette. Just unacceptable level of stress for me in a hobby activity. But I get that one covers more cycling distance that way.
I can totally understand. The first 2 weeks were difficult for me as well. I slowly started to get used to it but the more I go south, the crazier it gets. I try to take extra care and ride preventive to avoid situations like you are describing 😊 but in the end of the day it doesn’t feel safe
Yeah, staying hydrated is really important. Be however aware that drinking only water is not enough, you loose a lot of minerals through sweat that has to be replenished too.
Yup, a very good point 😊 I see all the salt drying on my clothes haha. I think I could start a business with selling salt 😆 On a serious note, I make sure to always put some electrolyte in the water to result those minerals and have some supplements that I take daily which contain a mix of minerals. I hope this will get me through the trip :D

Thank you for your words and your comment and really glad you liked the video. Yep, I think also tours like this help me as a person to grow
Putting on short sleeves and not sporting a base cap umder the helmet would help with the heat 😂
Haha yes the long sleeves were horrible but my skin turns color red after few minutes in the sun 😂😂
As before an amazing journey. Good luck for the next part of the trip with cooler weather 😀
Thank you :-) . I can give a spoiler: the weather got actually worse 😅🌞🏝😱
Little warms the cockles of a German heart more than a rubbish-free (abfall) landscape. Schöne N.Z. is waiting for you.
I really enjoyed cycling through Slovenia. Beautiful country and very welcoming people 😊

Would you open an OF so we can see more of you and support you financially?
Haha - somehow I doubt that would generate much income 🥹😅. Maybe I can add a special Patreon tier 🤣
