@@powercore2000 there is a scene where she talks about how she thought she got bitten but must have not (werewolf superfast healing). But if it glitches and you don't see her actually get bitten it's easy to forget unfortunately.
The whole shooting section was jank. Opened door with stump hand, the monster teleported, Abi teleported out of the basement to throw the silver shell, then teleported back into the basement.
I appreciate these games for what they are but the patchy holes are really showing in this one~ Not really the magic that Until Dawn had anymore. I think they gotta change it up. Maybe do something long form and fantastical yknow

I still find it weird that Abbi hasn't turned into a wolf after getting a big bite to the neck early on. And Emma claimed to be bitten while on the island, even though they managed to keep their distance and run away flawlessly... so she's a werewolf now. It just feels like the writing team didn't actually account for all of the possible scenarios.

I guess once it enters the blood stream, that when it starts to infect the host. Thats because supermassive doesn't make 'choices matter' games, they make patchwork horrors where every choice has to lead roughly along the same path, so characters change emotional state and physical position between scenes as the story jankily fits itself together

Think it's based on the severity of the bite, and Emma's bite is supposed to be worse due to them winding quickly and winding again instead of jumping but the game glitched and didn't show it.

Honestly, I think Dylan reaching for the door bit has a reasonable explanation. Firstly, he's only just had his hand cut off and may not be used to his lack of it yet so reflexively he reached out with his arm that would usually have a hand. Secondly, we don't actually see his stump interact with the door and I'm willing to assume that the werewolf threw the door open instead of him having any part in opening it.
If so, the ww used the inner handle cause it didn't break the door off the hinge. Was jarring for me regardless and at the very least looks like bad storyboarding (cause they're pretty in your face with why other stuff happens, so inconsistent for us to presume your hypothesis)
I agree. He clearly didn't actually open the door, but the werewolf broke the door open from the inside. He's only just lost his hand (why he's not in extreme agony is beyond me, even the strongest meds wear off) so it's natural he'd reach for it with his dominant hand.

opening a pickle jar is easy, either use the blunt edge of a knife and semi gently tap around the top lip of the jar creating small air pockets under the lid, or simply stab the top of the jar which once open you can just tap over it to keep them fresh

Okay so my working theory about the story is: witch was part of the traveling circus, Mr h(acket) and the hillbilly boys (maybe more Hackett family?) burned the hay bales which resulted in the circus burning down. The with blames Mr h for the death of herself? And her son and turned him into a werewolf, his brother the cop didn't arrest them? He bit the kids and keeps then locked up for when they turn. The bodies in the water are the journalist and investigators who died and the cop Hackett help cover up. Momsy is either family or friend of family who they call mom but she isn't doing anything explicitly evil apart from covering stuff up. Will look back after the series finished to see what I got wrong and right.
I feel that there definitely was a werewolf as part of the freak show and possibly the child of the witch. Despite the child being a werewolf, the witch had things under control. There was a fire caused by the Hacketts from their bootleg alcohol and the werewolf son escaped and started all this. So the witch blames the Hacketts for "losing" her son. Excited to see how things go :D

I don't think the bootlegging thing will have anything else to do with the story apart from flavouring. We know the fite started with haybales. There are really 2 options 1 is that the Hackett didn't want the freak show their and were racist (this would be at odds with Mr H character so far tho) or it was an accident in which it could be spilled booze on the haybales or something like that resulting in a fire. The weird thing with the bootlegging is that they say it was done after the quarry closed around 100 years ago, which makes sense with prohibition. But the circus freakshow was destroyed recently (I think we didn't get an exact date) assuming the story is set in 2018 or later (the phones, one of them being a youtuber) I'd say that the circus wasn't destroyed any later then 1995. This is already a stretch because the sign they found In episode 1 was still in pretty good shape, so the burning might have happend in the past 5 years? It being so recent wouldn't line up with the bootleggers stuff we know this far

The bodies in the water werent adressed but i'm fairly sure its bodies from people that went snooping there and were killed by the hackets. The fire was an accident but the fire was started by the kids. The mom blames the entire hacket familly. instead of a werewolf curse it was something unexplained. I'd say i was decently close.
I thought the whole time you loose the bitten people but it seems like that's not the case. wich makes the guns they're carrying suddenly much more dangerous. Abby would have been the first casualty from a werewolf then, if I understood it correctly.
