I think you are right about Russia trying to redefine European security arrangements. It also puts Finland into field of changes... It would be interesting to hear your prediction of Russian counter move to lengthening (possible) NATO border in Finland

First, bravo for correctly predicting events. I would add something that has long been obvious to many russian experts (as in, russians that are subject matter experts, not western "russia experts"): Putin never stopped fighting the cold war and this "new normal" you are describing has been in effect (from the russian side) for at least 2 decades ... the west simply failed to recognize that.
