And with the help of social media, we are even more easily brainwashed by the loud narcissistic celebrity. So many loud mouths out there now just screaming. Listen to me! Look at me! I have a lot to say and it’s better than what everyone else has to say! “They’re” out to get me!! In the meantime, real human connection and empathy are dying. Really scary.

Yeh, he's the editor of the "Scottish" Sun, so I'd venture facts don't always concern him too much.
Come to think of it, why didn't the tabloids do the investigative work and expose Brand for the vile predator he is? This guy had inside knowledge.
The Sun, Daily Mail, etc. are linking the BBC to Brand "getting away with it," referencing back to Savile's reign of terror. Yet while they can sniff a pair of dropped knickers if it's a Premier footballer or reality star, none of them exposed the supposedly open secret around Savile. Nor, for that matter, did the Security Services, despite his closeness to both the Prime Minister of the day (Thatcher) and the Heir to the Throne, now King Charles III.
Moral high ground is not credible from any tabloid tatler, Scottish or not - and I say that as a Glaswegian born and bred.

This is my very small insight after I very briefly interacted with him...I was a fan of Brand when he was doing "left" politics. I went to see him at a gig and not long after he had spoken to a woman in the audience, who confirmed they had slept with him but Brand could not remember her, you could go up to meet him at the interval. I was the last person to see him and he changed when he saw me and his eyes glazed over like those ladies said and he looked over my head and spoke very slowly like in a trance. I felt the most peculiar feeling because he had been very animated with the other women, hugging them etc. I was just puzzled and apologised and he said slowly "no, is alright, its the flash" (I was taking pics at the time) but he was not looking at me at all when speaking, then he just left without saying anything and got back on stage and carried on as normal. I never watched any of his stuff after that, that one interaction left me feeling something very strange, call it intuition I suppose.

I'm not in any way Brand's fan, I never was, in fact, I never watched his stand-up or even one of his TH-cam videos from start to finish, nor even one of his movies, I just have vague knowledge about him like about any other celeb but as a person suffering from bipolar depression, I can't stand how you label him here. To diagnose him publicly when it comes to his mental health feels very wrong to me. In fact, words such as psychopath and narcissist are thrown around too much nowadays, without any deeper thought, just because people can point out a bunch of cliches.
Labeling strangers or people we only know through the media, or even who were our friends once (as this guy here was with Brand) as psychopaths or narcissists in public, when we are not doctors, not a psychiatrist, and we don't have a background in the mental health field at all, is a very dangerous thing to do and simply wrong. The actual, professional psychiatrists say so. It's very dangerous, it has nothing to do with an accurate diagnosis, and it needs to stop!
No matter how much you dislike the person etc., the only competent people to diagnose him/her are professionals who would have therapy with him/her. So now in Brand's case, there are all kinds of people who know him and who don't know him, jumping on the bandwagon because the case has blown up in the media, and everyone wants to be on the money train, of course, because clicks and views matter, right? So I dislike how you label him here, in this clip.
You can describe his behaviors as bad and disgusting because you can watch old clips and you see how he behaved, but diagnosing him as a psychopath is nonsense. According to online 'experts', all celebs are psychos which is ridiculous. Yes, many leaders or famous people have various traits that seem psychopathic, but that doesn't mean anything as most people have these traits, actually. We all have darker sides and we are all complex. You need a lot more than this to be really, accurately, diagnosed as a psychopath or sociopath.
